Super simple and powerful
I previously bought a Blagdon 5-in-1 6000 and regretted it. I then got so irritated that I bought this with a waterfall filter and it is on a different planet in terms of flow rate and, frankly, simplicity. I wish I'd bought this first and saver £150 on the Blagdon kit. Really pleased.

Good So Far
I am only 2 days into using this but so far so good. It replaced a much older 48 watt Blagdon MP2000. As the name suggests that had a max flow rate of 2000lph where this is a 8000lph unit for approx the same 50 watt electricity usage. The Jebao does not seem to be 4 times the flow of the Blagdon. Some have said these have an exaggerated flow rating and I have not actually measured the flow so cannot confirm but I would say it seems perhaps 2 or 3 times the power of the Blagdon. Nonetheless this is a good outcome for the same wattage in my book. You do need to chose the right size as a too weak or too strong a pump can be a problem. Too strong could be adjusted with a valve but then you would be wasting electricity. Too weak would of course just be a disappointment although it might not drive a filter or ornamental feature you love. So I hope this review will help you gauge your requirements. The first thing you notice is that these are not silver coloured. They look silver in the pics but are actually a grey plastic. In a certain light they could look a bit silver. Not that colour is really an issue. You can press some plastic buttons that allow you to fully clear the mesh. The two halves are hinged but can be fully separated if needed. The outlet attachment is very handy as you can turn it any way you want, including vertically upwards for a fountain. In my case, through a variety of attachments (I already had) I am driving 3 things; a fountain, a pond side water feature with a garden hose size spout and a 20,000 litre external pressure filter that discharges into a 20,000 litre gravity filter. The later is about the same size as a decent waterfall or modest stream and in my case deposits the filtered water back into the pond. The pressure filter has a head of at least 1 metre and obviously if you were pumping water higher than that you might need a more powerful pump to get the same overall flow. So maybe get the 10,000 if you are pumping up 2m.The Blagdon could manage the filters and also the pond side feature but not the fountain at the same time. Also the flow through the filter is about double with this compared to the old Blagdon pump I had. That lasted about 10yrs though so not a bad pump. The Jabeo is a silent runner and comes with 10m of cable. I have mine on some bricks at the bottom of the pond as you are not supposed to leave the pump in the mud as obviously that would result in regular blockage. On the topic of filters, if you need advice, and want a clear healthy pond with fish, then get a pressure filter that is rated about 10 times that specified for your pond size....would be my advice. Actually I have a pond around 1,700 litres, so not that big but the fish have bred so about 100 goldfish and kio ranging from around 1 inch to about 14 inch. My 20,000 litre pressure filter combined with 20,000 litre gravity filter seem to keep the pond healthy despite what many would regard as overstocking.I will update if anything happens and hope this review helps someone.

Buy yourself a plug
Product itself is OK ,so far, only a few days in though. But the thing that surprised me is no plug. I thought this was not allowed in Britain. As you can see in photo according to the manual it should be supplied with one..So make sure you buy a plug before it arrives.

Great water pump
I have been using this pump for over a month, and it has been amazing , works as expected with the power as described, more than enough for a waterfall feature, easy to install.
