Panasonic and Sanyo make the best rechargeable batteries in my decades of experience. Industrial marriage made in heaven. LOL Nobody can touch them. In general, Japan makes way way better batteries than Mexico or China. These batteries are no exception to those rules. These deliver gutsy performance in super-heavy drain situations where NiMh batteries fear to tread. After testing the first set of 4 pcs I ordered two more sets (of 4 pcs)!! I have a Vivitar 283 flash. These recycle the completely-drained flash in 4 to 5 seconds where other NiMh new batteries take 6 to 8 to 10 seconds depending on the brand. So in that heavy drain application they are twice as good as other new NiMh batteries!! In a lower drain application like a weaker flashlight, or a yard light you may not notice a difference between these and others, except these will probably give longer over all life from my experience with Panasonic / Sanyo batts. Excellent quality.
