The device is great. I bought it as a replacement for my dead lava lamp and it meet all of my expectations. The colors are nice and the controls are solid. The speaker is a bit sub par but for the price of $30 I can not fault them for it.Previously I had purchased it and my remote did not work. When I wrote my review Weirdbeast saw it and their customer service contacted me to get me a new working one. With this amazing customer service I am changing my review from 3/5 to 5/5.The device is cheap but the alternatives are not anywhere near better and/or affordable. I would say this is a good buy.Thank you Weirdbeast!

I bought this lamp for my massage room. And was really disappointed to see that you couldn't just plug into the wall. Only a phone or laptop. I was able to use my kindle charger to hook it up to the wall. But be aware that it doesn't come with the plug. My dogs love this lamp. They love watching the lights and listening to the nature sounds. I also enjoy it, it's relaxing at night. Please make one that has thunder and storm sounds with flickering lightening. Now that would be awesome.

I have trouble sleeping so I went and purchased this product to see if it would help me sleep. So far I’ve had it for a month and it’s fun to watch the colors and hear the built in music/white noises... most night I find myself waking up not even remembering that I fell asleep. This would also be great for little kids who are afraid of the dark! The only downside about it is that it does make a little noise if the sound is off but isn’t loud to the point it would prevent you from getting a good night sleep.

I like this light because it has useful options. For example, it is for my daughter's room and she is only 5 months. I like that I can turn off the light rotation so that it's static light. I feel like the moving lights are too stimulating for a small baby, so this is nice. The remote is very nice to have too so you don't have to stumble around in dark to switch light on. Also really nice that you can turn off the auto shut off feature since some will want theirs on all night like my son. Great price!

Despite others who seem to love this product, my husband and I are sending it back. Pros: The light show is nice with good variety and I do like that there is a remote control and timer. Cons: I'm not a fan of the audio. I just wanted simple rolling waves to drift off to sleep to (like the Cloud B turtle that my son uses), but all of the audio choices have too much sound going on and I find it distracting.UPDATE: While this product did not work for me, the company had excellent customer service and was very receptive to my criticisms of their product. They expressed what seemed to be a genuine interest in continuing to improve their product, which is refreshing. Return process was easy.

I purchased this for my 9 yo that doesn't like the dark or silence of the house at night. The 3 different timer options are very convenient. It can also run with no timer at all. The colors are very nice and the nature sounds are great. His favorite one is the crickets. I also like the way you can control the volume. The sound also alternates between the vol you choose & a lower tone while it is playing. My son is now falling asleep easily. I will Def buy this again if I become in need of one.

LOVE this product, very cool features, very cool lights, the speakers sound pretty good for what it is. Just a couple things I wasn't thrilled about: There's all blue, all green, but no all red colored light & it would have been our favorite. Not wireless (thought I read it was), kinda loud motor when the sound is turned off & just the lights are going. The sound loops are not edited well & you can hear that jarring start/end part, so I generally don't use the 4 sound modes that came with. WAY too bright to actually sleep to. We have to set the 1 hour timer well before we want to be asleep, because the lights are pretty bright. Should have a dimmer feature. For the price, it's nice, but when it dies, I'll probably spend a little more to get the features that I wish this one had. That said, I bought this to create a chill, soothing, peaceful ambiance in the bedroom & it does that.

I purchased the Weirdbeast because I just thought it would be cool to have, little did I know that it would help with my insomnia. There's a certain amount of progressive anxiety that comes with not being able to fall asleep, and the Weirdbeast has helped assuage that.The lights move gently and slowly across the ceiling and walls, bringing about a state of relaxation and calm.I personally just mute the sounds and toggle through to find the color of light that I want and that's it. I have a medium sized bedroom and the lights cover at least 3/4 of the room.Had I known that a light projector would help with insomnia, I would've bought one sooner, especially at this price.Sweet dreams.
