Great product.This was our first time making syrup and this kit was wonderful. No expensive bucket to buy then try to find a lid, and the plastic taps work just fine. :-)I didn't realize it came with a drill bit which was such a welcome surprise. We really had fun and this easy to use collection kit made the process wonderful!

This was my first year tapping maple trees and this kit made it really easy. I liked the step-by-step instructions. Very novice-proof. They were also very easy to remove the bags to empty them and put them back up to collect more sap.

We got these to start playing around with making maple syrup from our maple trees. They were simple to use and very convenient. We had tried with the metal bag hangers in the past, and they were much more of a hassel than these. The bugs stay out (for the most part haha) and the sap goes in!

These seemed like a good idea, but they are extremely difficult to get in and off the spile without pulling it out. I likes that the bags were enclose, but it’s not good if it gets full of bark bits trying to get it off the spile. The bags also got too heavy in some cases for the spile to hold the weight of the bag.

This is a very convenient way to tap for those who just have a tree or two. We just tap one tree. We used to used the old fashioned spigot and bucket. This product keeps everything a lot cleaner and all but the bag (and the spigot if we can not get it out) can be used in future years.

As a first time syruper this was an easy and inexpensive way to try to tap my trees. Very easy to use. Just twist the pipe to get off the tap and empty the bag. Would absolutely use again.
