Augason Farms Blueberry Muffin Mix 3 lbs 8 oz No. 10 Can

Like the flavor. Bought this a year ago and price was $8.12 a can. Now its over $30.00 a can......... NOWAY would i buy it again at the outragous price its going for now. Supply and demand.........bull crap. Why are people so scared? Their only making the price go up. But the product tastes great. Easy to make.

Do yourself a favor and read the ingredient list. Look at what the "blueberries" are made out of. And the other ingredients aren't much better. If you want a premix, try Aug.Farms biscuit mix. You can add the other ingredients you need to make muffins and it will be much healthier. Jsuk, I bought one can only to test before buying more (I try to do that on long-term storage items I buy). Prep is minimal, texture is a bit off, and the taste is okay but very sweet. The muffins don't really brown unless you spray the tops with vegetable oil about 1/2 way through the baking. 2.5 stars

Opened a can to try them out before ordering more. Not good. Hardly any blueberries.. very bland. Akin to dollar store muffin mix. Wife doctored it up with crumble and extra ingredients to make them better. But still nothing like your basic box of muffin mix at the store.Maybe in the middle of the apocalypse, with hordes of leather armor wearing "Mad Max" style gangs roving the country side, these would be more appealing.

I had to rewrite my review after I did some experiments with this mix. While it makes very good (and easy) blueberry muffins I found it makes even better coffee cake. I loosely followed the directions on the can for "lemon coffee cake" but substituted a blueberry yogurt I had on hand along with a couple handfuls of frozen blueberries. I just mixed it by hand- no mixer is necessary. In literally 5 minutes it was in the oven and it turned out great!Next I tried it (again with a blueberry yogurt) with frozen raspberries- it was even better because it cut some of the sweetness. This time I skipped the streusel (too much work and didn't add much to the cake) so instead the top got nicely browned. I'm not much of a baker but even I could do this with great results.The can says 32 servings but by adding extra fruit I got 3 coffee cakes (9 good size servings each) and a dozen muffins. I would definitely keep this on hand because it's not just for emergencies.

This producer markets excellent products and fair prices. After having initially buying one product with great satisfaction, I've proceeded to by several other varieties, they all turn out to be top quality with long storage duration's, and not having to continue frequent trips to local retail outlets, is nothing to sneeze at ? After my first trial of baking a pan of 12 muffins, I like these muffins better than those in local retail outlets.They come out with more moisture, keep very well in the Fridge and I solved the problem with the produced small size muffins compared with retail selling sizes, I just purchased an 18 muffin size pan on Amazon, and mixed for a larger number of muffins

Excellent Product; very easy to prepare and tastes very good. If you purchase this don't just use for long term food storage; it's worth opening a can and enjoying. Price of this product, in my opinion, is very comperable if not better than the store bought muffin mixes.

Came as described no dents found on can. As of 7/25/18 I opened the can so that I could bake the muffin mix mixing was easy and only required water to be added. Cooking took a little bit longer to brown than on directions taking around 20+minutes. The mix in the can was what you would expect and the blueberries were in a pellet form that melted or became a liquid when baked.

Came as described. When i Cooked as muffins they were gummy and. chewy. Kind of like a sponge. So i tried as a bread and i was able to cook it longer and it tasted better. I dusted the bread pan with sugar and also sprinkled the top before baking to get it browned and a little crust forms. Also did not use a mixer i mixed by hand and just until the ingredients were blended.
