Flavorganics Organic Extract, Hazelnut, 2 Ounce (Pack of 3)

I rated this as okay. I do not think it has much flavor, at all. I realize I may be used to the artificial flavoring from Watkins that I have been using for years. I tried it in a recipe and couldn't tell the flavoring was even in it. I also usually add extract to my coffee (as I do not want a syrup or sweetened creamer)- I do not taste the flavoring at all. I have tried it repeatedly, hoping I would adapt to the lighter flavor- but I didn't.

I read the other two reviews prior to buying this product and still decided to buy it anyway, my reason for this was because the other two reviewers preferred artificially flavored extracts (read closely, the brands they refer to sell artifical flavors). If you prefer artifical flavored anything (artifical vanilla, coconut, almond, etc) then natural flavors will always come across as soft. I bought the extract and was very happy with it. It has a natural hazelnut taste, and now my hazelnut cookies taste amazing :)

I went for this product even though I saw the negative product reviews, and I was positively surprised. I guess it depends what you use the product for - I can imagine it might be difficult to make hot hazelnut chocolate with it.I use it for baking cookies and other desserts, and I love the flavor. It might be less powerful than some other artificial flavors, but at least you get something that is organic. Its a good size, a good price and got delivered promptly.Hazelnut extract is difficult to find in grocery stores, so I'm glad I find a great solution here on amazon.

I started buying this to add to our coffee, to reduce the amount of artificial flavors. We love Hazelnut flavored coffee. This helps. The hazelnut flavor isn't quite the same as the artificial, but that is probably because it is natural. I have also used it in some baking and it was good.

I was forced to look for a new hazelnut extract when the shop i usually go to was out of Watkins brand extract. Considering the price and the organic factor, I thought it might be a good substitute. I was wrong. The flavor isnt nearly strong enough. I will not be buying this product again.

I would not order this product again. It has almost no hazelnut flavor, and that's the whole point. I now buy the hazelnut extract made and sold by Olive Nation, here on Amazon. It's really, really good--intense flavor, I only need a few drops at a time.

Wonderful smell and flavor makes my coffee syrup taste like hazelnuts a truly lovely way to drink my first morning coffee
