EXCELLENT for Pet Fur!
I’m OBSESSED with these. I have a cat who sheds like a double coat dog, and these things knock off ALL his hair in the dryer. I use them for my clothes, his bed, EVERYTHING. Dryer sheets didn’t do anything, and my clothes would be wrinkled as well. There’s no extra scent, and clothes are hair AND wrinkle free! I use all 4 at the same time, but 2 would work fine if you don’t worry about heavy lint/pet hair.

Um.
Update: ok even better… didn’t realize these also catch hair!! Super happy with these considering I she’d like a husky onto all of my family’s clothing. And the hair comes off very easily when cleaning them. These are awesome!! I’m terrified of dryer sheets bc of all the toxins, and the natural ones just don’t get the job done. So gave these a shot and they are AMAZING! Dryer sheet who?

Negative reviewers mostly used these wrong
I love these. I was hesitant to buy, due to the many complaints in the review. Too bad these don’t come with instructions. For your own happy outcome, I offer my tips below.Scatter them within the load. I put one in empty dryer, then put some clothes in. Next put one on the left and another on the right. Put more clothes in and place the last one in the center. Add any more clothing if there’s room.I’ve’ had these nearly a month and only used them in the dryer. The amount of hair that ended up in the filter has been amazing. As I’ve continued to use them, I find less hair on the clothes and less in the filter. So don’t expect all hair to be removed in the first few uses. It takes a while for accumulated hair hiding in the clothes we wear to be drawn out. I wish I could show you the photos I took of the phenomenal amount of hair on the filter and the half-ring of hair around the rim of the door from the first few uses. Also, if the product has excess hair when a load is done, ignore it. Just put them in the next load and the hair comes off by itself, although it may take more than one use for this to happen completely.By the way, these are not meant to eliminate static, so don’t expect that. I have noticed, though, that static does seem to be reduced somewhat. I don’t remember the listing making any claims regarding static. The only “complaint” I agree with is they do tend to “jump” out of the dryer when unloading. I’ve actually been using only three for weeks. Haven’t found that one. Maybe the dogs snatched it out to our overgrown yard. Yesterday a second disappeared. If any go missing without having jumped out, it’s likely to be wrapped up inside a garment and you’ll find it while putting things away. I recommend feeling through the dried clothing for the object, or it will jump away when the garment is picked up and/or shaken.I’m going to see if just two of these do the job, now that the hair that results has been so reduced. If not, I’m ordering an additional set, as these are so worth it, especially at this price.

Effective at removing pet hair!
I purchased these for the purpose of removing dog and cat hair from laundry. They work!!! There was way more hair and whatnot in the lint trap after I used them! Clothes, fleece blankets, etc had much less hair stuck on them coming out of the dryer! Still a few here and there, but greatly reduced. They’re really not noisy in the dryer at all. The little cacti are hollow (not a solid chunk of silicone) so that helps dampen the noise. Great product, wish I would have tried this method sooner!

Cute and does the job
EDIT: Have had these for almost a year now and some of the arms of the cacti have ripped off in the dryer. Im not sure these weren’t made for XL laundry loads, but the remaining cacti body is still usable and continues to do the job.Purchased these silicone dryer balls because I’m allergic to the wool ones. They arrived in a pack of 4 and were a bit bigger than I expected but still so cute. I washed them before use with a bit of soap and warm water. I like that they collect the hair caught in the laundry that would normally cling to the dried clothing. They are noisy when tumbling through the dryer, but not excessive enough to cause concern.
