I have ordered from this vendor before and have been very happy but this item blows everything else out of the water. The light functions are fantastic and in this Day and age of bicycle theft, the remote activated and super loud antitheft siren is very impressive. I love how it gives one loud warning blast if anyone even touches your bike. Then if they insist on taking it, the siren continues to scream and the light flashes, drawing major attention to the thief. Congratulations, you’ve really thought of everything. I truly will recommend to all my friends.

Love that once set up, the tail / brake light is automatic. The light comes on when the bike is moved, turns off when you stop for a period of time. The brake light senses when you slow rapidly and glows very brightly to warn others that you are stopping. The alarm is very loud and should discourage anyone attempting to steal your bike or any accessories. It is sensitive and may go off when someone else accidently jostles your bike when putting theirs in the same bike rack, so beware!Note that the bicycle "bell" function is not a friendly tone, but instead is a short loud burst from the alarm. It may startle other riders or pedestrians as you pass.Installation and setup are simple, and battery life is good. The light itself can be quickly recharged via the provided USB cable. Highly recommend!

My adult daughter's Trek Marlin 5 bike was stolen out of her husband's truck in Ventura, CA while they were eating lunch after a 30 mile bike ride. The chain lock was cut and taken with her bike right across the street from the restaurant. They didn't take my son-in-law's more valuable bike out of it's identical lock. Goes to show that ANY bike is a target for thieves! I'd looked at bike alarms in the past, as my DH and I take our bikes camping, but was scared the alarm would be too loud, or be an ineffective or overly sensitive product. I revisited the notion of a bike alarm with this incident and stumbled upon this one. I bought 4, two for my DH and I, and two for my daughter and her husband as a b-day gift for my son-in-law. DH and I tested it as an alarm system today. It worked as described. Other reviews said it's very loud, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that it wasn't earsplitting (a fear of mine in case someone unintentionally bumps our bikes when accessing their own in a bike rack, for example), bit it had significant and effectively loud volume. Very pleased with the other features. Good price/investment for the benefit if the product holds up adequately beyond this great first impression. I will most definitely be buying more for gifts! I can understand some people's issues with the mounting, but we had no issues. Since I am less concerned with it functioning as a light, I am ok if my trunk bag covers it while well attached to the seat post, as I already have a light on my trunk bag for the few times I use it, so long as the alarm sounds - not worth taking off any stars for me. I will update my review if we have any functionality issues with any of the four we bought.

Don’t get me wrong, I like the little tricks this light offers, but poorly implemented stop light and auto shut off ruined everything.The stop light function is too sensitive. Just a slowdown in pace will trigger it, but at least it is still lit. The auto shut off is horrible. If you ride fairly smoothly for a short while the auto shut off will kick in and voila you don’t have the light anymore, and you don’t even know it. I begun to notice it in September when the days got shorter and I was finishing my rides in growing darkness.So why only 1 star? Well the bike tail light has really only one job: to blink. This light can’t do it. I won’t mince words, it’s year 2022, if a bike light can’t BLINK OR STAY ON reliably then it is a piece of …Out of all the cheap stuff I bought at Amazon this one is the worst because it puts me in harm’s way. I’m going to fork off $60 and buy a light than CAN blink (whoop de do!) at my local bike shop.

Bottom line is this may not work when you need it if you forget to charge it. The fact they made it with such a weak battery is upsetting to say the least. I will have to mount a battery pack in a hidden spot just to maintain this device and that is just RIDICULOUS!
