Thug made good is the best way to describe this character. Great reading all the same

Factually interesting as a fairly accurate insight into the early days of hip hop and east coast west coast rivalries...... Writing style made it a difficult read. The grammar and mix of colloquial slang and also the times, dates and tenses made it quite hard work.

Just awful. Disorganized, as if large parts were written without editing. Almost no primary sources. At times it has an absurdly pro-Knight bias. I suspect he tried to contact death row for interviews and was threatened there would be trouble if he said anything bad about them. Ronan Ro's Have Gun Will Travel is much better.
