I read the reviews about this item arriving damaged, but decided to risk it anyway. It did arrive damaged with 3 of the 8 dragon heads broken off the roof. I figured this would happen, but it’s easy to glue them back on with super glue. The packaging was actually very good, so at least they tried.This is a large, beautiful spirit house with so much nice detail that far exceeded my expectations. I’m glad I took the risk and feel it deserves 5 stars. The price is also quite low in my opinion.

The spirit house is definitely excellent quality and workmanship. However, six of the eight side spires were broken off and had to be repaired. The shipping prep needs to be improved, so I had to give 4 out of 5 stars overall.

This product is really beautiful and hand made, but the way it got shipped is horrible. You would think spending $115 on this product they would be able to add some better stuff to protect this beautiful peace of work. My wife is pretty disappointed on how it arrived and wants a new one sent to us or owner money back

The media could not be loaded. This item came broken. I sent it back for replacement and the second one also came broken. The wood is very fragile. I don’t believe that being packed away does it will ever come not broken. It’s missing one of the deer head things that look like the top I only got three and should be Four. It is a beautiful item, but should not be packaged the way it was. It needs much more of a wrap or whatever to keep ants from breaking off.

When traveling in Thailand, I wanted one of these Spirit Houses. I was charmed by the artistry as well as the spiritual concept. I didn't think it would be possible to get it home with me in one piece, so I didn't make the purchase, and had regretted it. I was so excited when I saw these. When I received it I was more than delighted. It is so beautiful. The carving is terrific. The artists even included the Garuda for me to attach to the apex of the Naga roof elements. I appreciate this, as they are too delicate to make the trip without damage had they already been attached. Mine is slightly different than pictured, but that tells me they are not being stamped out in a factory by machines. Mine is no less beautiful, just a little different. Packing was done with care, and even included a note in the top of the box to customs agents, should they need to unpack for inspection. The note instructed how to repack in order not to cause harm the structure. I appreciated the attention to detail.

Ordered it twice, came broken both times. The house itself is gorgeous with flying protective spirits on each corner of the roof. Every single one was broken off because of terrible skimpy packaging. I sent it back and they sent me another one with the exact same issue. Such a shame as the spirit house itself is lovingly handcrafted and could be absolutely spectacular. I hope the shippers are reading this. You need to use extensive bubble wrap and peanuts to protect something this delicate!

We purchased this spirit house for our godson's parents, who adopted him from Thailand. It is truly gorgeous, and fantastically crafted. As others have mentioned, these spirit houses have a hard time traveling safely, so we ordered well in advance of the gift giving occasion, just in case. Good thing, because the first house arrived looking like it had been through a hurricane—the roof was a mess and there was no question of gluing it back together. The seller made it easy to return and immediately sent a replacement, which arrived in perfect condition. It was exactly the heartfelt gift we wanted to give this lovely family. Highly recommended, so long as you plan ahead.

This is a very beautiful product. However, it arrived with many of the more delicate pieces broken off. It took a while to figure out which piece went where and then I glued them on. After that, you never would know they broke off. However, the people who create this product might want to consider the possibility of better packaging the item or making some parts separate from the main structure and then having the purchaser attach them after their arrival. Nonetheless, I would buy it again.
