Amazon Essentials Men's Lightweight Water-Resistant Packable Hooded Puffer Jacket

I’m 6 foot, 225 lbs. and wear an XL shirt. The XL fit me very nicely with just enough room to wear a long sleeve or sweatshirt underneath if I wanted. It weighs in at just under 1 lbs. 2 oz. and packs down in the included stuff sack to about 9 x 6 x 6 inches. This will be great to take backpacking or keep in the car.

My other puffer jacket tour for reasons that's still continue to evade me the more I think about it.. I went to get my guide dog from The Seeing Eye, and one day it started raining. This jacket did an amazing job at keeping me dry, but also cool in the warm weather. I really like the red color. I'm not a fan of the drawstring bag though. That's kind of ugly in my opinion. But, the rest of the jacket is quite nice.

I bought a few similar jackets from different manufacturers and the plan was to keep the one that fit the best. This one came in second place, and I had to return it because another one fit me a little better. I ordered the small, and I am 5'6" tall and 150 lbs with short limbs and a wide frame. Nothing fits me well, so I usually have to settle for something that is close but not perfect. This jacket fit perfectly, but the sleeves and overall length were just a little bit longer than a competitor. I honestly would have kept this jacket if I had not tried the competitor's, because the extra length was negligible and comfortable. Generally speaking, this jacket style runs a little long in the sleeves for people like me with short arms. Then, if you buy a size extra-small (usually not available), it's too tight or too short in the overall length. This is a nice, well-constructed, lightweight jacket that feels warm. It's much lighter than a parka but it seems like it will work for cold and wet weather around 40-45 F. The hood also fits well without a hat and it seems like a very functional go-to jacket for cold rainy weather. The wrist elastic could be a little tighter in my opinion, but it's basically snug around the wrist. You can probably put a few stitches in the material and make it tighter with some clever sewing.

Well i bought this so i can have an affordable puffer jacket i can abuse and not feel bad about. used it for everything and anything that involved being cold outside.Not wanting to risk expensive jacket incase i ruin it or hate it i purchased this one but so far it has withstood the abuse. i am pleased with the purchase and i recommend it if your in the market for this item and price is an issue . i have used it for concerts ,camping ,late night shopping trips ,taking out the trash at 4 am also just for the random day hikes .things i like it packs really small and is very light it also comes with its own drawstring bag that seams to match the color you purchased , i think anyhow because i have purchased 4 different colors (Christmas presents for family members ) and all come this way.Also this thing does very well in windy conditions it seams to have a very thin feel for a puffer jacket but the small amount of insulations paired with the inner and outer shell of jacket material reminds me of safety blankets ability to reflect body heat back to you this feature for staying warm is doing great for lack of "poof".i took this to a outdoor concert in LA (besame mucho) and it was very cold and windy because of concert rules only small see through bags were allowed so i brought this jacket in its drawstring bag and took a very small amount of space and was perfect for the situation kept me warm through the whole night night. had very large outside pockets with zipper closures and very deep inside pocket behind the outside zip up ones, they seam to share the space keep this in mind when placing bulky items one side will use space from the other even thought they are separate a pocket . the hoody does not have draw strings but i dont feel needs them i think we have gotten use to everything needing drawstrings, it is a bit spacious inside the hood i guess if you have a beanie or a baseball style cap it should fit fine and extends just before the bill of cap. i just hated that they tried to ship it in no box just a clear see through bag the first time had to return arrived damaged.In new condition its durability is uncertain until this point it has held up (2months), not sure yet the feel is not the toughest it has a thin feel but notably i have not torn it and it has at least been through the wash once keep in mind i airdried all this said it looks brand new and is in great shape , i would whole heartedly recommend this jacket just look for the deals also get the vest for an added layer of warmth

It's still not winters yet to try it out but first perfectly and feels warm. Light weight. Can't wait to try it in cold weather

01/24: "Chilly" Festival Friendly! Wanted something to keep me warm in 40-50 degree weather, but that I could also compress into a hydration back pack ! This was perfect! .... love the ability to easily roll it into the included compact bag; I just wear with the bag attached as it arrived... u don't feel it...and you'll never lose it....it looks good on... fits great.... & was warm enough - it really does retain body heat.... all that plus its lightweight w/no added bulk! Ive had no issue with the zipper...but remember its only like a 30-40 dollar jacket...so just be patient & careful with it is all and don't expect to wear it snug and not have an issue with the zipper eventually ... Will also be taking it snowboarding soon. Very happy with this affordable purchase. Great value. (Size M, Black)UPDATE: 02/24.... purchased a 2nd jacket in Size: L: .... worked perfect for me as a snowboarding mid layer! ... as a 1st timer to snow, this made it easy for me paired with just a balaclava hoodie, a set of thermals, a bib pant, snowboarding socks & gloves I was comfortably warm as it was snowing with temps in the 20s described as a part cloudy, part sunny day with 2inches of snowfall expected (after 11inches the day prior) .... . I didn't need my top layer jacket... I stayed warm ... I remained dry .... I ended up purchasing the Sz: L to allow for layering & for more movement. It worked perfectly ... highly recommend...Item travels EXCELLENT! .... easy to care for... will likely purchase other colors as needed.... so for me at: 5'7", 170 ... size M for daily casual wear, and size L for winter sports at a bargain price & nothing bulky to store as I live in a tropical climate. Stores away easily taking up no space until the next trip.

Me gustó mucho la chamarra, rebasó mis espectativas, la confección es muy buena, no pesa nada y es muy cómoda. Normalmente uso talla L pero al leer las opiniones de otros la pedí en talla M y me quedó perfecta ya que solo uso una playera abajo, mido 1.69 m y peso 74 kg. Si la usara sobre un sweter estaría mejor la talla L

These jackets, both the mens and women's are wonderful. I found myself reaching for mine every time - over heavier coats since these are so light and comfy. I finally bought one for my husband and he too wore his out and so this is the fourth such jacket we have purchased. They last through continual daily wear, normally about 3 or four hours a day from the cooler fall evenings to cooler spring days. I find we get about a year out of them, though I suppose they would last longer if we did not get them mucked up at the cuffs from the dogs. I good, not too costly jacket useful for all but the coldest winter days if you wear a sweater under.

Acquistato in offerta e pagato 17€, ottima fattura, veste leggermente lungo sul tronco per essere un XS, le maniche sono della giusta lunghezza per la taglia.Ottima impermeabilità e tenuta del calore se la temperatura non è estremamente bassa, rimane comunque una giacca autunnale.Da richiuso nella custodia risulta leggermente più grande rispetto alla foto, rimane comunque poco ingombrante (lunghezza 25cm, diametro 15cm)

This jacket is lightweight. The zipper is on the wrong side as in on the right side opposite to the left side for males. Other than that the size was right as ordered. It has to outer zip pockets and a deep inside pocket with no zip. It comes with its own small bag which the coats packs into. Can't comment on water resistant. Hood is a decent size to keep the cold out. This seems like a good spring/autumn coat at a reasonable price when bought on offer.
