Perfect addition to my 3 quart instant pot.

This unit works just as it stated ...... a great way to warm leftovers to have them taste fresh cooked ..... also a great way to make pot-in-pot recipes .... i.e. rice ..... perfect every time.

These little pans are great! I hadn't really used the pot-in-pot method before, so I thought I'd start with something easy. I put the smaller pan on the bottom to reheat chicken and macaroni leftovers, and cut up some fresh zucchini to steam in the top pan. Everything turned out terrific! The pots fit well in my 3 quart Instant Pot, but not if I were to set them on the trivet. The pans are not really elevated and I do wish there were a bit more room underneath them to produce even more steam. But I can use them on the trivet in the 6-quart pot. Cleanup was a breeze, and I plan on using these pans frequently. Great product!

Overall Design & Performance:Fits perfectly and impressively keeps the inner pot and cover of the Instant Pot (IP) clean throughout a cooking cycle. Pressure is reached faster (by almost half the time) albeit with a bit of noticeable noise while cooking.Unfortunately overall cooking results are just not the same, even after adding a few minutes to a cooking cycle (in anticipation of this additional inner cookware).A frequent Meatloaf and Mashed Potatoes recipe which previously worked consistently well (using foil, or even small foil-covered baking pans), in this case came out looking “ok” on the outside, but partly undercooked/raw on the inside (pictured) in spite of an added 5minutes of High Pressure Cooking time.I sense that although the cookware simplifies preparations, it inadvertently insulates the food from the intended cooking conditions in the Instant Pot. I find it unnecessary work having to figure out proper adjustments on recipes (or what to better place on top/bottom) to achieve the same results with this cookware.I decided to salvage the undercooked meatloaf recipe by trying to continue cooking it in the same pot on my Induction stovetop. And this is how I discovered that the cookware is Induction-friendly, which would be a “plus” for this product, on the points of “convenient reheating” and “cooking versatility”. I’ve warmed up food many times in these on my induction stove and they work out just fine.The pull-up cradle is simple to engage and disengage but easily scuffs and scratches no matter how careful you are. Just from one cooking cycle it already left an indelible mark on the bottom panel (pictured) which won’t wash off.Delivered Item & Unboxing:While I eagerly looked forward to this purchase, I did not appreciate receiving an item that was clearly scuffed, previously handled, cleaned and apparently re-packaged (possibly to pass off as new).Though I was surprised to learn of similar experiences shared by a several earlier customers through their reviews, I momentarily decided to just look past it - wash it well - and try to use it for the well-reviewed performance I purchased it for. From my overall experience on its performance (detailed earlier), I believe I tried hard enough to give it a chance.Unless there has been a major development, or perhaps a newer improved batch I was not lucky enough to receive, I will have to return this for my money back.I’m happy for those who are happy with theirs. It truly is a great and well-intended concept. The actual product just doesn’t work out for me and my Instant Pot (IP).

I have one of these for my 6 qt instapot and use it a lot. But the smaller one hasn’t turned out that useful, My 3 qt instapot constantly registers “Burn” even though I add water before use. Since I cook for only 2 people I thought the 3 qt would be a more perfect size for 2.
