I have an almost 11 month old puppy and he was learning the basic commands but needed more training on jumping up on people and some other typical puppy type behavior. The reason I chose this one was because of the different mode options, I didn't want to "shock" my puppy and I knew he didn't like things that vibrated (he runs from me when I use my electric toothbrush lol), so I figured that would work. Guess what? It did, after only using it a few times and him hearing the beep it makes when turning on the remote he caught on pretty fast that it meant to stop the behavior. Now he don't even have to have the actual "training collar" on and if he is doing something he's not supposed to all I do is turn on the remote, he hears the beep, and automatically stops the behavior comes over and sits down in front of me. Now I barely even have to use it, he don't take off when we go out on the property, at least 2 acres to run free and he stays in eyes view and comes right when I call him, I am absolutely IN LOVE with this training collar. Rate it #1! Highly recommended.

Unfortunately I've been traveling a lot since I purchased this collar and have missed the window of return. I will sell it in a garage sale. The remote control is too cumbersome to operate. To switch between shock sound and vibration is just not easy to do. Especially when your trying to control your dog in situations. I wish there were a button for each thing, not having to switch. I will purchase the sport dog collar to replace this. I have tried to use this collar twice with much frustration, especially when finding I wasn't doing a darn thing.

Bought this collar to use when my dog is in uncontained spaces. His recall is especially bad at my parents place which has a lot of wildlife including coyotes. My dog picked up the cues from the collar very quickly generally only need to use the vibration mode. Have only had to use the shock mode a handful of times and never past a 5. Saw a Coyote today and if the collar hadn’t been on him my dog would probably be lunch. Very happy with this product.

Worked great on the first charge. Once the collar ran dead it would no longer accept a charge. Charged it anyway thinking the red light just wasn't coming on. Now the collar won't even turn on. Had high hopes because of the reviews but it was a complete waste of money. Shouldn't have trusted something that was made from China that was actually a fairly cheap price when considering prices for high quality shock collars

The first collar I received would not charge. The second I received will not pair with the remote. Maybe third time is the charm? Maybe I'll go with another brand.

This collar fits a two year male doberman pinscher going through his puppy years. He is a rescue boy who I learned after two months of being ignored, had been trained on an e collar. Peace reigns now. I only use low vibration mode. He now comes when called without any signal after twenty four hours. It was easily charged in the 4 hours recommended, easily adjusted for fit. I put the transmitter on a lanyard around my neck rather than the wrist strap provided for all day convenience. It can be set for two dogs if an extra collar is ordered.It is holding a charge quite nicely after two days of intermittent use.

Already reviewed this.However, to repeat, the control unit is MUCH larger than I would ever want to use.

My collar worked less than a year. The remote still works fine, but the collar died for some reason. For a cheap training system it worked well up until the collar died.
