Quiet,powerful,good-looking range hood insert
easily cleanable range hood insert. Best part is the customer care. I emailed them about buying extra filters. They immediately responded and sent me the filters.Only recommendation to the company is make the filters available on Amazon because the 30 inch model filters are not available in Amazon now.

Looks sleek..but difficult to install
I just got it installed, haven’t used it much but from testing it out it’s works great. Just beware that the installation is quite difficult…at least for me who is by no mean handy, I had to buy some pine studs from Lowes to build a supporting frame for the sides, I unplugged and move the stove out of the way, hoisted the thing up and had to rest it on my head to get it properly leveled while my wife provided additional support (the thing is pretty heavy), then find the out of reach holes to screws it onto the studs…huge PITA to do, definitely a two persons job.I am happy it’s done, looks great. Hopefully I did an ok job and it’s not gonna fall down lol.UPDATE 11/30/2022Now that I have used this for over a month, I want to provide some further updates, first, it didn't fall down, so I am patting myself on the back lol.I'm adding some pictures to show my setup, hopefully it'd be useful for others. First, I had to use this as a ductless setup, as you can tell from the first photo, I don't have ventilation to outside, the cabinet in the middle is just a veneer, it is completely hollow inside (picture 2: looking up from underneath) and obviously that's where the range hood get inserted into.As alluded to previously, the length of the range hood is about 1'' away from either side of the cabinet wall, picture 3 shows the stud that I place on both side of the wall, so the range hood will fit snugly when inserted. As for the range hood itself, I have used it daily, for normal sautéing, I usually use the lowest fan speed, or go up one level at most, I rarely have to go up to the max (I reserved that for steaks), and it does a fantastic jobs of sucking up the smoke/steam.I also use the hand waving to turn it on and off, which I found to be extremely helpful, especially during cooking and I don't want to look underneath to press the button.Overall, super impressed with the range hood, it looks very nice and works very well. Because of this, even thought the installation could still be a pain, I'm upping this from 4 to 5 stars purely for its performance.

Somewhat broken, but works
Update: I've had the fan for about three months. I finally got the hang of the gesture controls:-wave left to right for light on and fan speed 1 OR wave right to left for fan speed 4 and no light. They do work most of the time and I have actually enjoyed this feature more than I thought. The fan still blows wonderfully. Overall, a very happy buyer.---I had the same issue as another reviewer regarding the blower mounts missing screws. The screws, washers, and nuts were rattling in the unit when I took it out of the box, and I assumed someone just dropped them during assembly. It wasn't until the following day when the blower sounded awful (hitting it several times didn't help) that I realized those screws went to the mount. It seems someone at their factory is forgetting to torque all the screws upon completion.Despite this, the fan is very powerful and works great. Installation was straightforward and the manual helped. Once the motor is PROPERLY mounted, it is also very quiet even on High (speed 4). The gesture control doesn't work consistently for me and I will not be using it. The inclusion of a remote is quite odd to me, and the button functions are not inherently obvious, but I suppose it is preferable for some people. For the price and overall aesthetics, I am fairly happy now that it's installed.

Super powerful 900 CFM fan, 4 speeds, remote control and gesture sensing range hood
The media could not be loaded. Much lower cost than other “in style” range hoods and would also argue more functional. It is engineered to be fittted in an existing space and set up...roof or wall vented etc.It works great and looks beautiful! The fan is very powerful on the high setting and does a great job ventilating the kitchen, the filters are easy to remove and clean. This is an amazing range hood, has four speed fan, two LED lights, tempered glass I bought the black one and is very beautiful, comes with a remote control, super powerful 900 CFM, gesture sensing and a timer from 1-15 minutes, so many features and very affordable. This looks like a much more expensive piece in my kitchen... or so I've been told by a few people. It looks great, is quiet and with daylight light bulbs in it the whole range is lit up. Worth every penny!

Excellent support
We are happy with the range hood. It's quite powerful and has cool features including remote control and hand gesture control. It would have rated 5 stars but the gesture control after working for a time has since failed. However I contacted support and corresponded with Jesse at IKTCH support. He listened to my description of the problem. He made some inquiries to enable further analysis and has determined that the control panel requires replacement. He has one in transit to me a long with instructions on how to change it. I couldn't ask for a better response.

LOOKS GREAT
TOOK A COUPLE DAYS TO INSTALL SINCE I HAD A CUSTOM HOOD COVER IN THE KITCHEN. NEEDED TO ADD WOOD BRACING TO THE SIDE OF THE CABINETS TO SUPORT IT.THE ONE ISSUE I HAVE WITH IT IS THE MOTION SENSOR TO START THE FAN DOESN'T WORK.THE LIGHTING ISN'T THE BEST BUT THE SUCTION WORKS GREAT.I WOULD NOT BUY THIS AGAIN.
