Mountain Mike’s White Skull Master Antler Mounting Kit | Compatible with Harvested and Shed Antlers (Universal)

This is a great, cheap way to mount your deer! Even though it is plastic, it is a thicker plastic and actually looks great! Yes its not the real thing but its the next best thing. I would highly recommend this product! sure beats cleaning the head yourself, or taking it to a beetle guy and paying a lot of money to get it cleaned. I bought this for my 6 point i shot. And I bought the universal kit because I wasn't sure which top I should get. And, it turns out, spending the little bit extra money was worth it because it came with the mounting bracket too! Which I was pleasantly surprised with. And it also comes with the full kit. The picture online only shows the skull but it the whole kit and is easy to understand. The wooden stand I made myself and I can either hang it off the wall or sit it down whichever I choose. The only modification I made to this was i drilled another hole towards the bottom of the bracket and into the underside of the skull because the hole to hang the skull off of worked but it would roll off the side of the bracket. so I simply drilled a small hole into the bottom of the bracket closest to the skull and put a screw in it so it wouldn't roll off! That's it! Great product and will much likely be purchasing again!

Works well and looks good. Only critism is the pre drill sizes recommended. I went 1 size drill bit bigger after the screw seized and broke off in my antler. Definite pain in the ass having to drill out the old screw. Other than that, great result

I took a smaller buck last year, after not hunting for 10 plus years. I wanted a way to display the rack without spending an arm and a leg. My initial plan was to do a traditional European mount, but a year later, the head and antlers remained in my freezer. I stumbled across this kit, and decided it was worth a shot. The kit arrived about a week ago, and I finally got around to putting it all together. Took the antlers off the head with a hacksaw and followed the simple instructions. Took me maybe 30 mins including cutting off the antlers.Overall I am happy with the results. The skull is clearly plastic, but I'd say it looks better than I originally expected. I have not hung it up yet, but expect it will look more authentic from a few more feet away. I gave this product five stars because it as easy to assemble, and looks better than I expected. I personally wouldn't use this kit if I was planing on displaying the antlers in my living room or other prominent location, just due to the plastic material, And the fact a European mount is only about a hundred bucks to have done. Long story short: I am very happy with the purchase, and with the end results. I would buy again for smaller or medium sized racks, or for paired sheds. If I had a trophy on my hands, I would spend the extra money and have it done right.

Easy to put together.....looks as good as other skulls i have.....I got to put a 9 pointer back into glory.....I am skeptical of things....this was worth every penny.....I am HAPPY
