I was not expecting much out of this item to be frank. I read a lot of reviews for a lot of different ones. Most of them were between the $20-25 range. They call seemed to have the same problem. Flimsy, cheap. And just overall not a great design. Great idea but the design hasn’t been protected. Of course there’s a safety issue since you’re technically not supposed to have any third party attachment on a car seat. As soon as I took it out of the box I was nervous but pleasantly surprised at how heavy it was, but still light enough to not cause any damage in a collision or accident. There is a mesh padding underneath it which is nice and I think that’ll help keep activities on a stable surface. I was also nervous it wouldn’t be wide enough to fit across our Graco 4ever but after testing it with my son strapped in it seems so fit OK. (Could be wider) I believe the compartments on the sides can hold things but I wouldn’t put anything in there that could rip the mesh. The strap behind him I was also nervous about because I didn’t want him leaning on a buckle for 6 hrs straight but the buckle is in the front so now I just have to worry about him unbuckling it 😉 I was not expecting much from this especially for only being $12 but it pleasantly surprised me. Two reasons I’m taking a star away are 1: this is the major one. The material around the front that is supposed to keep things from sliding off while driving is VERY flimsy. I think they should put little foam or even plastic pieces on both corners to keep it up. It just flops in his way. I may even just cut it off tbh or find a way to tape it up. And problem #2 is that the map has air bubbles under it which means it’s hard for him to play with his stickers or color on a single piece of paper so even though the product is overall sturdy the air bubbles interfere with simple activities. Overall, 100% worth $12

I just got mine in today and it’s very well made. Great quality and nice vibrant colored map. We have a long cross country trip next month And I’m pretty sure he’ll love a lap table. 2 small details I’m not to fond of is that that the black sides won’t stay up, they keep folding inward. I will put some books on the sides of them to get them to straighten up. The other thing is I was hoping the map was a hard flat white board type of map, instead it’s like a cheap plastic vinyl and it has wrinkles and moves but it will still work for us.

This is a great product if you take frequent road trips. We went on a 20-hour trip across the country, and my kids really loved having these. It fit great on our Britax Marathon and Frontier. I love the soft sides to help so things don't roll off the sides. We ended up putting a dry erase board on top so the kids could color on it. They also built Lego's, ate snacks, colored, and read books. Really helped easing all the "how much longer?" questions!!

LOVE this tray. Only used it for a couple days, but he took right to it. Nice and padded underneath. He can have snacks and several toys all at the same time. I picked this one over the other top rated tray I found because that one had all fake reviews.

Been buying from Amazon for years and never had the time to write a review but this product deserves it! It's simply amazing! Kept my kids busy for hours in the van. My 4 kids have always been hooked to the screen in our van but this time, through our 10 hour road trip, not a single kid asked to watch a video, instead they were productive. We filled the trays up with coloring books, washable markers, crayons, extra paper, book of coloring games, scratch-off paper, sticker books, and many other surprises for them. Was worth every penny.This product is made out of high quality stuff so will last you for years.

We bought this for my 5 yo son for a Indiana to Florida 18 hour car trip. It worked out very nice. He used it to hold his food, draw in coloring books and just about anything he wanted stable on his lap. It’s is a little big to keep in the car so we only use it when we are going places over a few hours.

This was a gift for a family who was visiting and gallivanting around trying to see everyone in the area, with two little guys in tow. This is the second one I have purchased because my boys were fighting over the first one. They love them! Very fun and practical for longer car rides. They appreciate being able to hold their bowl of snacks without them falling everywhere. They color or read books love it! Great purchase! Worth the money.
