I was nervous to use too close to kitty’s ears but the noise did not seem to bother him. Does not use batteries. Charges with very specific USB cord. Not an universal USB charging cord. Be certain to label your cord for massager. I can’t find the cord & am unable to charge it, I hope it turns up soon.

I really wanted to like this product. Unfortunately it has some issues that cannot be ignored. It does feel good on the scalp, but it also feels like it's tugging your hair out of your head. And it's not comfortable nor pleasant on the skin. The rubbery "fingers" feel like they are painfully pinching and tugging the skin up, leaving a less-than-pleasant experience. So unfortunately, I decided to return this. In comparison, I got a much more enjoyable and almost "sensual" scalp massage using a $5. tool that is a wooden handle with four thick metal wires sticking out that have wooden balls on the ends. You just move it up and down on your head and get a much nicer feeling of comfort and relaxation. This product just made me stress out more than relax.

I bought this device for my cat but she didn't like it so began using it for my scalp. Massaging the scalp not only has improved its circulation but has helped relieve some stiffness in my neck.

My dog enjoys this massager but cat not so. Fun to use on dog as she enjoys it.

This item looked great in a TikTok I saw but unfortunately isn’t great. One of the nubs on the end fell off the very first time I used it on my cat. Two of the other ones fell off on its second use when I tested it on my arm. You can put them back on but they fall back off. I’m considering supergluing them so they can’t fall off, but I shouldn’t have to do that. The device also pinches the animal/person getting massaged. I used it carefully on my cat and he yelped because it pinched him. I tried it on myself too and it also pinched me. Save your money and don’t buy this incredibly poorly made product.

I got this after seeing many people online showing their cats enjoying the massage. My cats were scared at first but I eventually got a couple to try it. I put it on my arm to feel and it pulled my skin and pinched me pretty hard. I think it's a good sturdy quality but can be dangerous. It is small and easy to use, just be careful. I don't let my cats use it though because I don't want them to get pinched.
