I am embarrassed to tell you how many of these I have. On the desks, on the tables etc. Perfect, for cell phones, tablets and kindles. Even saves a bit of space on our desks. Want to watch a movie while having lunch? Put your tablet on the SmartStand and keep the salad dressing off it. Want to be out to dinner with little kids and need peace and quiet to talk? Put your cell phone onto your Smart Stand so they don't get Mac and Cheese all over it. Plus standing up like that--one tends to remember that your phone is not in your purse or on your belt. Yes, it is a silly piece of plastic but I have found it so useful and can really recommend it. By the way, the angle of the device is good too--for viewing.

First of all, let me say that this simple little device works great. It's sturdy, tiny, durable and rather sleek looking. In fact, I own several.That being said, I have only one tiny "con." The original SmartStand had two slots that allowed this to have two levels of expandability. This would allow me to use the stand for my iPad or my 360 degree laptop, the latter which was obviously thicker when folded into the tablet mode.The new SmartStand II has only one slot and, thus, cannot be adjusted to accommodate anything more than a tablet with a slim cover. And now, it certainly does not accommodate a foldable laptop. So, it does not work for me anymore. :-|Other than that, nothing to really say except its a great concept, great product. If anyone knows where I can get the original SmartStand, lmk.

Several years ago I bought a bunch of these at the check out of an office supply store. The ones I got were mainly black, with one pink one. The black ones became sticky over time, but not the pink. I have noticed that with a lot of back plastic things around my house. So I am replacing the black ones with lighter colors. They have to settings, so they can accommodate very thick cases. They are great for my phone (with its case), my tablet, and ereader. I keep one in every room of the house. They fold up nicely and I always make sure I have one in my cary on bag when I fly. Unlike the metal ones that fold up to look like knifes and freak out the TSA these plastic ones go unnoticed.

I do love this product. It is sturdy and made of good quality material. Thought the price was a little high for the product, however, and is the only reason I did not give it 5 stars.

I purchased this product before at an Office Depot. The older version I purchased had a second slot to provide an additional viewing angle, this one only has the one. Still a great product though.

I love this stand, originally bought a pink one at OfficeMax (or Depot?) and wanted another... So I bought this black one (same price) but the black one here only has 1 slot/ 1 option of angling the device. The pink one I got at the office store has 2 options for angles which is much better. Wish these on Amazon had the 2 options for the stand. Well... I still love it since I like the straight angle the best anyway. Might buy another.

The previous version had 2 points of inserts for the stand to handle something a bit thickernow it only has one, this is fine for my iPads and Tablets and Phones.

I have one in black that I purchased from a major office supply store for the same price. This read one I keep in my purse/work bag to use on the go....this Smart Stand folds 'FLAT" and is able to fit in the same pocket as my cell phone...best invention for those who don't like to lay there cell phones just anywhere...this can also hold a smaller tablet...and it has a slight "rubberized" coating...
