Sturdy and well made. So far working much better than my On-Stage Stands one. Clutch is solidly reliable which is the most important part. Great quailty

I've had this stand for a year now and I use it weekly. It works for holding a microphone. I have attached a boom. I have noticed that the main up/down adjustment has started to slip a bit over the last year. The plastic adjustment is not able to be tightened tight enough. I have many older mic stands that still work perfectly after 20-30 years. They don't look as nice. (the main reason I bought this stand) I do like the light weight, and my stand still looks great after a year. I do take good care of it. It only travels in a bag and does not get thrown around. I won't be buying this again simply because out of all the mic stands I own (7) this is the newest and the lowest quality.

It is stable

K&M (and AKG) mic stands are a bit more expensive than some stands, but are extremely well made and durable compartively speaking (they are also heavier). It is not a stand that will fall apart after a professional usage.

I have the highest regard for this company's products. Never had a problem and the products seem to have been engineered to serve the professionals.
