Howard Leight by Honeywell Quiet Band Shooting Earplugs, 1-Pair (R-01538) , Orange

I am very happy with these earplugs. They really knock the noise level down on whatever power tool or vacuum I am using. What I really like is that they stay put in my ears due to the tension they exert. I have a great deal of difficulty getting individual earplugs to stay in my ears, but with this all-in-one band that problem is nonexistent. The construction of they, while mostly plastic (band), seems to be good and I hope to be able to continue using them for a very long time. I also really like that unlike by large "earmuff" type earplugs, they are much less obvious and intrusive.

I love these ear plugs they're easy to use and they're really handy and they work well. I've had the same pair all year and they've held up great. I do lawn care and it's nice to have the ability to remove your ear plugs and have them hang on your neck as opposed to the plugs that come out individually blah blah blah. I think they're a good value for the money My only negative comment is that if you wear them consistently for a few hours they start to hurt your ear a bit.

I just used it for about 3 hrs in the shop. It's very comfortable. Easy to put and take off. The plastic isn't so flimsy to where it will snap off. The foam is a tad big but it's snug enough to stay in. It does get annoying when you move your head around and the back of the band sits between your shoulder blades and you can hear it rub against your shirt. When it's in it my ears it does drop the room noise to about 20 db. Sure blocks out annoying planer and router noise but you still have hear another person talking just in case of an emergency. Love how the foam ear buds do not touch the table. It's very useful in a shop where saw dust is EVERYWHERE.

I bought these to use with loud small appliances in my house. I have a Blendtec blender, which is very loud. My husband was concerned about me using the blender without hearing protection. He provided me with a pair of ear muffs, but they hurt my ears while wearing earrings. Since I don't plan to remove my earrings every time I use my blender, I sought another form of ear protection.This form of ear protection is light, easy to use, and easy to store. I store them in the cabinet with my blender. When using these for ear protection with my blender, I can easily drop them down around my neck if I need to take a break and talk with my husband and children. They are very convenient to put on and take off as needed.I like that the foam pods are soft. They don't hurt my ears, hold firmly in place when I am using them, and do the job well. Seem to be fairy well made and work. The only things that I found were they did take some getting used to the way they fit and the ear pieces didn't last as long as I thought that they would. For some reason the foam seemed to break down rather quickly.

I am not one for writing reviews, I do check the reviews out before buying so I think it's time. I am a dIYer and could not get the squeeze/expanding type of ear protections to stay in nor do I like the big type that completely cover your ear (due to being sweating/sticky were touches skin)One review on this product said it is painful/uncomfortable. I just wanted to say that I have had these for about a month and wear on and off throughout the day. At first they cause a little discomfort. They are obviously slightly sprung, if they would not made that way they would fall off so there is a little pressure at the point they touch the ear. I used to make one cut with the circular saw/miter saw and remove them, then fit for the next cut. I now can keep them on for many cuts and sometimes even forget that I am wearing them. They do a good job of reducing the harsh noises from all my tools. I would definitely buy again if these ever need renewing :-)

This is my second pair. First pair an employer gave me for on the job site. Buy for the easiest and best earplugs I've used. I believe their decibel rating is understated, they work so well I catch myself almost screaming at people not realizing that I can't hear the level of my own voice. The first pair I still use at work almost everyday for the last 15 years. Only had to replace the ends which are very easy to do. when not in use they slip right inside my hard hat where they stay clean and dry. I'm amazed they lasted as long as they have and since I've found them on Amazon decided to buy a backup pair plus replacement ends. A little disappointment that I couldn't order them individually they were an add-on order only unless I had prime. I'm sure many more people would purchase them Amazon hint hint hint if you would allow them to be sold separately. And he have very happy with these ear plugs you won't be disappointed if you purchase a pair for use at the firing range or at work.

Regular over the head gear don't work with glasses. The break in the fit causes sound leaks. With these you can wear your glasses and it hangs around your neck when not in use, so you don't lose them!

I carry these earplugs in my hardhat as they’re easy to access and easy to install on cold winter days and even in the summer they’re very fast and efficient and do an excellent job for what I need. I do not have to worry about taking my gloves off to roll up the form to put them in my ears. I just simply take them out and put them on. Very happy with these would recommend anybody to get them.

Build quality could be better. Fits well in the ear. Have not tried it on the range yet to check the noise reduction capabilities. Will update the review when I do. Upgraded my review to 4 stars for functionality after using it a few times at the range. Fits perfectly with good noise reduction. Easy to take off and hang on the neck when not in use because of its light weight and design.

I was little skeptical about these working effectively in an indoor range, but they work flawlessly. You just have to follow the instructions properly for optimal fitment. These replaced my over-the-ear, ear protection which resulted in a better cheek weld for my FA. Say goodbye to bulky ear protection and get these. Like mentioned in a few reviews, if they're good enough for Hickok45, they're good enough for me.
