Lovely basic bag
I have not yet used this so my review is a little restricted. However, I wanted a large capacity, lightweight carry on bag to pack in my suitcase on the outward journey and bring back full on the return. As such I didn't want something with loads of pockets and compartments as I will have a smaller "personal item" to take on board as well, with all my travel documents, etc. It was actually quite difficult to find such a bag as so many have a bewildering array of pockets, compartments, zips and straps, most of which I would never use. This bag looks and feels great. It is lightweight when empty and has good padding on the back so hopefully will be comfortable on my back. It has two front pockets which I will find useful and perfect for smaller bits and pieces I want to get to quickly. It seems to be well made, but only time will tell. I am looking forward to using it soon. Very pleased with quick delivery and I particularly like the cloth bag it comes packed in.

Appears to meet all airline requirements.
I've yet to actually use this item. However, I like the fact that is lightweight but strong and it appears to meet all the dimensional requirements of airlines, even Ryanair. It probably has enough space for clothes etc. for a short stay abroad in warm weather. It has some useful pockets and the handle and wheels look adequate for towing it through airport walkways etc..My main dislike is that when used as a backpack, there's no space to put the flap that otherwise covers the straps. I think the idea is that it can somehow be folded down between the wheels and a couple of small pieces of Velcro will hold it in that position. I intend to experiment with adding some Velcro patches to make this cover flap go between the straps and add to the padding on the back.

Love this bag!!
Bought initially to save the hassle and cost of lugging a big suitcase around eastern Europe. It's a great piece of kit. We've now completed two eight day multi-county trips, involving air, boat and coach travel and it's stood up to everything we've thrown at it. It conforms with every airline's carry on luggage size restrictions. The main section swallows up the bulk of your clothing, then there's net section, one side for bit and pieces of electronics and the other dirty clothing, and then a deep front pocket for the stuff you might want to access more readily. There's straps to reduce the bulk, a carry handle and the zips glide round with ease.Obviously, the bag doesn't include the badges in the photo (we're waiting for two more having just got back from Portugal and Spain). My wife got a similar bag in blue but I think the green one is better cause you can pretend to be an army soilder.

Strap is coming away from bag even when only holding 7kg
Bought 2 of these for 7 individual flights over the past week. One no problem but mine (blue one) the strap is detaching from the bag (seller is arranging a replacement).Positives:- excellent value for their use- travelled for 2 weeks to and around Australia on international and internal flights (7kg limit) and they were excellent- lots of useful pockets to help holding paperwork (itineraries / passports etc) and a couple of zipped pockets for things like earbuds / cables etc- material (not a hard shell) with side restraints helped to ensure that bag could be shaped to fit into the airline’s luggage guide- feels like they hold loads … as I say, did 2 weeks in / around Australia from the UK and (albeit you will have to consider / limit what you pack) they were more than suitable for use- feels sturdy - especially the top carry handle- 3 separate compartments - very front one useful for iPad etc; middle one for paperwork / easier-to-reach items (books / medicines / earbuds / itineraries etc); main good as main clothes etc storage- airlines happy to board me with this bag as carry-on- allowed me to avoid Heathrow check-in queues as these are carry-on size and also avoid need to wait for hold luggage to be offloaded at the end of the flightNegatives- few but (as I said) one of my straps looks like the stitching has gone (see picture) however other one is fine (plus carry handle sturdy) so was still able to use. Seller arranging replacement. Travelling companion had no such issues with theirs. In short, won’t do you for extensive travels but more than adequate for short-ish (2 week) trips even to long haul destination if you make appropriate 7kg packing choices!! Good number of pockets / compartments and very reasonable price. Will use again.

Great bag - even better customer service!
Bag is great - bought back in 2022. Very happy with it. Reason for writing this review is that one of the side straps must have got caught in some luggage handling conveyer and snapped off the buckle. I dropped an e-mail to CabinMax help and they sent out a couple of replacement buckles straight away and for free. My bag is now as good as new. What great customer service.

Good weekend bag
Great for an onboard recent weekend trip abroad. Loads of space and front pocket. Padded at the back at the handles. Easy to keep rolled up small when not in use.

Love it
Really good size , comfortable on back . Very sterdy and durable wheels.Has alot of compartments. One compartment can be locked. Its size is perfect and accepted in budget Airlines as carry on.The only thing i would add a belt infront of chest or abdomen would make it perfect backpack too.
