Overall great and dependable, fast alerts - could be a little "prettier"
I did not want to write a review until I had given this a try and some time. I purchased the starter kit (base unit and one sensor) in April 2017, along with another sensor. This is a great system. Easy to set up, useful app which is intuitive. Over time I've purchased a total of four additional sensors as I've gained confidence in the system, and placed them strategically around the house. The alerts are great. I "wet" tested them on my own, and to show visitors, and each time both my wife and I immediately got phone calls and texts, and the alarm on the base unit went off, all in a matter of seconds. We have a long house, and even the sensor furthest away from the base (about 75 ft) stays connected. Every now and then, we get an alert that one or more of the sensors has disconnected, but it resolves itself in awhile. I think this is a function of our wireless connection which tends to get reealllllly sllllllooooow or cut out from time to time, not a Wally issue. My only qualm (great word) is that the alarm on the base unit could stand to be louder. It's like a quiet version of the Star Trek "red alert" sound, a bit feeble, and very hard to hear at the other end of the house. As we nearly always have our phones close by, that's not too much of an issue. As for the sensors, the oldest are eight months old and the batteries are still fine. That's a big plus as I looked at reviews of competing products where the same could not be said. One small criticism is that the design is pretty basic and "meh". The base unit is a plain black box which I'm sure they could shrink a bit - looks a little dated. There is a competing system that has nice drop-shaped sensors, which would be an improvement, though the sensors for this system are pleasingly small. Nice job on this product guys and gals!

Company gone bankrupt? Can’t get anyone for support
Updated reviewI do have to say the set up was extremely easy and the sensors tested out quickly when subjected to very low levels. It took me a while to locate the hub so that you could capture all the sensors . Been running the system for 11 months with great success. Was actually the point I wanted to invest different hardware for another house . As of today April 18 , There’s no email or phone support from the vendor lines have been disconnected. Tried contacting their numbers to leave messages as well as even calling their former PR director to find out what the heck is going on.My system still continues to monitor and I get good email updates on sensors as well as the app runs well . I found a bankruptcy note in New York that looks like it includes Wally LLC Labs, So sadly it looks like a great product has been abandoned with no went to pick it up and support it

Zero customer support and wally sensor failed to give water infiltration warnings
I purchased the starter kit (hub and one sensor) in February of 2018. Everything seems to be working EXCEPT the most important feature--I get no notifications when the sensor is sitting in water. This happened several times over last summer (lots of rain). The light on the sensor flashes and there is a very faint chirp, but nothing is sent to my phone. I have tested the communication with the hub, and there is no problem I can find. The wally app also shows the temperature history (as it is supposed to). I have been trying for months to reach anyone at wallyhome regarding these problems. All this time their web site indicates specifically that they "temporarily" have NO customer support due to "internal restructuring." There is no phone number to call and only an email address for warranty support (which does not respond either). I also emailed them using Amazon's site and no response there either.

Certainly not for a novice.
Device could not stay connected to my wireless internet because the signal was too weak. Needs a better wireless sensor. You can receive alerts in a temperature range, but you cannot monitor the current temperature. Software is clunky and not intuitive. Could not figure out how to change the temperature or location settings.

Good product; terrible setup instructions
I had a first generation Wally system which didn't work well. (The sensors in the basement wouldn't always communicate with the hub.) I decided to purchase the second generation product because it supposedly had newer technology that improved data communication between sensors and the hub, and because the company has basically stopped supporting the first generation product.I am proficient in setup and maintenance of WiFi equipment, but it took me over an hour to set up the hub. It wouldn't connect to my WiFi router. Finally figured it out, but then the Wally app wouldn't recognize the new hub. The website was no help, and when I called customer service, I got voicemail.I finally determined that I had to delete the old first gen hub from the app before it would recognize the new hub, but there was nothing in the app or the website that explained that. I figured out that I had to go to the website to delete the old hub. Once I found the place on the website to do that, the rest of the setup went smoothly, including pairing the sensors.I gave this product three stars because of the vague and incomplete setup instructions. This company needs to do a better job for its customers.

Very simple to Install. Works Great!
Plugged the hub to my switch. Pressed the button on the sensor to pair it to the hub. Placed the sensor in the crawlspace, next to the sump pump. I registered the device online and named the sensor (As of location and purpose). I adjusted the ranges on humidity and temperature I wanted to be notified and all done. Less than ten minutes for a full set up.A couple of minutes later, I received an alert stating that the humidity had gone beyond the acceptable range I set.I then turned on the dehumidifier and have been monitoring the temperature and humidity via my smartphone without having to go down there.I love it!I would be nice if they come up with other type of sensors / devices in the future or interface with other manufacturer's products.
