Grandmax Teeny Tweakers Portable Mini Boom Speakers for iPod / Mp3 Players & Laptops (White)

Bought one and then another and concluded . . . Great little speaker at a nice price . . . however it has a problem . . . the joint charging and speaker cord are poorly designed . . . or either ingeniously designed . . . depending on whether or not you want the cord to fail at the jack end in approx. 6months. looks like planned obsolescence. Cannot find independent cords to replace defective cords. Either buy another unit . . . or move on.

I initially gave this speaker 5 stars but am now reducing it to a 2. After only 3 days of use, the plastic housing for wires split. So now there's a bunch of exposed wires. Just because the speaker cost me under $6 is not an excuse for that type of shoddy workmanship. I don't know if I simply got a bad set of wires, but I'm shocked at how little use was required for it to happen. I haven't downgraded this to one star because Amazon issued me a refund and because the speaker itself is still functioning for now.In any case, I do NOT recommend and will try another brand on my next speaker purchase.*************************************************************************************Okay, so I was a little peeved that the speaker required 5 hours of charging prior to use and that the cords were so unbelievably short. Also there is no volume modulator. The speakers are either on or off.But once I got past those irritations and actually used it, I am amazed at how well it performs. To be fair, I only got the speaker yesterday, and have been using it for less than 24 hours. I bought laptop speakers last year which had great reviews and they didn't even last a good 10 months before completely conked out, so who knows how much usage I'll get from a $5.44 speaker the size of a donut hole. But as of this moment I am 10x happier with the sound quality and loudness of this single tiny speaker than I have with any others, including the ones my laptop came with. The tiny size means it takes up almost zero space. Doesn't get in the way or interfere with anything else.I wish it had come with a clip to attach to the laptop, and on full volume I hear some tinniness, but as full volume is much too loud, it's not a problem which affects me.Definitely recommend

This isa tiny little speaker. Works welll so far.

This thing surprises you with the volume. My laptop has cruddy speakers and if I try to watch a movie on it, I can't hear most of the movie unless I plug in computer speakers. I hated that I needed to lug the wired speakers everywhere. This is so nice, it charges while it is in use, so it doesn't die on me. It has a volume level on par with my cell phone which is great. I am overall very happy and for someone just looking for a portable option for a laptop, this should do the trick!

Quit working after about a week. Already threw the paperwork that came with it away so I couldn't return it. Very dissatisfied.

This is the second speaker I have owned (the first one broke, but it was my fault) and I love it so much. Big things do come in small sizes with the crazy sound abilities of this little guy. I have had two friends buy it since they have seen mine and many more who are awestruck over the sound quality!

I found this little speaker equal to the task of giving me big sound in a little space. The speaker gives a nice sound from my phone and people like the quality.
