Purchased these over and over again
Love these pens. The only pens I use for my Bible. I wrote a lot so I need them. Purchased them over and over again.

Good for use on thin paper
I’ve used various Micron pens before, all in black ink with different line widths/tips. None have been terribly long-lasting, but only the chisel tip has been a true disappointment. I recently got a journaling bible and some of the reviews for journaling bibles in general recommend Micron 003 and 005 for the thin paper. The star of this 4-pack is the sepia ink. It’s a lovely shade and a nice variation on the usual black. I thought I was prepared for how thin the points are on the 003 and 005, but nope—I almost thought all of them were defective, missing nibs completely, until I looked more closely! That being said, I’m getting used to them and appreciate the lack of bleed-through on thin paper. I won’t be using them for my normal journaling/keeping an agenda because they are so thin but they’re great for use on thin paper and, I’d imagine, detailed sketching. I’m considering finding the sepia ink color in one of the normal-nib Microns because it’s quite nice, like I said.

Reach for these often
Reliable fine liners. I got these for the brown (sepia) ones and enjoy using them.

Bleed with alcohol-based markers
These were my go-to fine line pens, for illustrating greeting cards with alcohol based markers, they were unsatisfactory, which do cause bleeding. Then I found Pentel Pointliner Pigment Ink Pens—no bleeding! For sketching and other uses, however, the Micron pens are still great.

Gold standard of fine liner
The gold standard of fine liners, I use these to outline my illustrated watercolour paintings. They withstand both erasing pencil sketches and water based paints with nary a smudge or bleed. You literally can’t go wrong.

Dry - there is no ink in these.
The first time I used one of these pens, I loved them. However, using them ( 3 out of 4) for more than 5 minutes, they were dry and would not flow or write/draw without skipping. Total disappointment and a waste of money. I only use superfine pint tpens and am well versed with them.
