MARATHON34mm General Purpose Mechanical (GPM) Wrist Watch with Tritium - WW194003

Love this watch. Elegant but rugged, simple, tactical look for a Swiss field watch made for various militaries around the world. When the limited edition of this model with the Benrus/ETA movement became scarce (they only made 600) I was thrilled to see that they continue making these. The only difference I see is that the ETA 2801 mechanical movement is not stamped by Benrus. Other than that they appear to be identical.Update: Had it a couple of weeks now and could not be happier. It gains about 2 second a week which is phenominal accuracy for a mechanical watch. I dont think it is too small as some have complained but I never liked the trend towards massive watches. Also, Marathon's website incorrectly states that the mil-spec classification is type 1 class 1. It should state type 2 class 4 (which is in fact on the packaging you receive). Type 2 means higher tolerances for anti-magnetism, high altitude, salt resistance and mechanical (no battery). If you want a tough genuine military watch, this is a great choice.

Very sturdy. easy to read clear dial. The tritium markers are bright. The watch is on the smaller side. But perfect for my wrist. Id recommend pairing it with the marathon leather nato strap. Adds a little more style. Just a great looking simple utilitarian design. The bead blasted satin case is a nice touch too. Gets about 40 hours from a wind up and seems accurate. I don't have any numbers to support that. But I haven't needed to reset the time. Plenty good for me.

Excellent product support and customer service. The watch's design is quite unique and looks very nice. Has sufficient weight on wrist and tritium illumination is decent (brighter than my Luminox). Very well built. Value for money if you are looking for ETA manual wind movement I am very impressed with customer service and will be buying more Marathon watches in the future.

Great mechanical(hand wind} watch. Small watch with truly unique and clean design. Very quiet movement. The tritium tubes are amazing as far as night time visibility goes.

Terrible, the hand dials practically sprung off after a week of use. Fortunately my watch shop guy can fix it for free. Id rather thatthan send it back to marathon. I live outside the U.S. Also, the watch is terribly small. That is my fault though. But ended up giving it to myGF. It is so small. It looks small on her wrist! Other than that, the watch uses quality materials.

Was what I expected. I am happy with my purchase.
