My husband and I put it up on a easy Sunday afternoon. Total time to build is probably about an hour and half. I do recommend buying your own alan wrenches instead of the one provided, and better yet if you have the right bit for a drill. It definitely requires two people to put it up, but only because it’s awkward. We will definitely recommend it to those who need the shade but don’t want to add a ton to their deck. O and considering the price of lumber, this is a much better solution!

I love this pergola! Is it 100% perfect? Not really, but close enough. There are some dents as others have mentioned but it isn’t anything that is even noticeable once assembled. For the cost, it is worth it and not an issue in my opinion. Assembly was also great. We did have a small hiccup where we put the legs wrong - so make sure to pay close attention to pieces A1 + A2. Everything lined up and fit great.We placed the legs of it in planters and filled them with rocks for some added weight.If you’re looking for a pergola but don’t want to spend $1k+ , I definitely recommend this one.

After getting the Majority of the pergola assembled I started finding bent pieces but was able to bend them back into place. The further along I got the more problems I was finding misaligned pieces , cracked metal , misaligned screw holes , bent legs on the main frame, had to drill my own holes on the main Support brackets because there where no holes cut from manufacture. The biggest problem I am having is that it took me 4 1/2 hours of my time and it looks like it’s gonna fall apart I’m not gonna waste my time taking it apart to return it and I would like to have my money back and I don’t know who to contact The quality of the workmanship is very subpar and I would never recommend this to anybody

My intention for this pergola is to improve our backyard bird feeding and for this it is perfect! There were some scratches and dings, but those really don't impact the way I'm using it. It was easy to put together but also took much longer than the "instant setup - 35 min." as described.

This item is very heavy and not packaged correctly. It will probably arrive with dents or paint deformities.

So I went with this product for the price and size. While unboxing this product and getting everything set up, I noticed multiple pieces were dented, dinged up, or bent. One of the main posts looked like a car ran over the bottom of it. Also, some of the bolt holes were poorly drilled because it wouldn’t line up with the anchor nuts. I ended up redrilling 6 holes to get the pieces to fit together properly. I would have returned the product if I wasn’t on a time crunch to get a rental property up and running. The instructions could have been better. But once i figured it all out and got it set up, it looks great. The cover looks like it’ll hold up fairly well in the desert climate. Not bad for the price but it could have been done better. My main issue with the whole product was the condition some of the pieces were in.

Shipping was what i anticipated it to be. A few bent pieces but easily able to readjust with some pliers due to metal type. It took me roughly 3 hours to install by MYSELF. Definitely better to have a helper but not impossible for one person.The time also includes prep for all the pieces. I would say once everything is ready to set up it takes about an hour.Overall adjusts shade well and hasn’t really moved in the wind like others are saying. Will be back to update in a few months to touch on the rusting issue.
