I had allograft acl repair surgery May 31, and used a soft brace with two straps provided by my surgeon before and after surgery. I have big legs and felt like the donjoy wasn't fitting as well as it should. After a few weeks, I ordered this brace not expecting much but it's been great.The upper straps have an elastic panel on them that allow a more customized fit and it comes with some silicone on the inside to help with slippage. I'm finding that the wider knee opening reduces the feeling that the brace is moving around when I bend and makes me feel more secure. The overlaps on the wrapping part have nice wide velcro patches so it feels very secure.The neoprene type fabric on the inside is very smooth and I haven't noticed any itching or discomfort, even in >90° temps. I feel like this is helping me make more strides in moving away from support when walking.

This brace felt really good while it was on, sizing was spot on, it instantly relieved my knee pain, but it wouldn't stay up. It does not have the little silicone band inside to help it to cling to your skin so it would slide right off as soon as I started to walk. I have quite large thighs and this was the only one I could find that appeared to fit, and it fit perfectly. If they would put a silicone ring around the inside to help it grip, I think I could've made it work. I'm returning it.

Absolutely perfect, I was looking for a little longer knee brace and this one is great.

(update)... after leaving this review I was contacted by the seller and they offered me a full refund without having to return it. They also said they are making an improved version of the brace and offered to send me one for free. I didn't take it because I already bought a replacement so I can't speak to it's quality but I have to imagine it is better. They sent the refund within a day. I changed from one star to three stars to reflect their excellent customer service...This knee brace was completely unusable as purchased. The elastic strips on the upper leg straps are far too weak to support my knee at all. I had to tighten it until the elastic was fully extended and no longer able to stretch to get any support, at which point the strap rolled up and put all the force on one thin strip on the back of my leg which was very painful. The top strap also wants to migrate down my leg so both top straps are actually on one point on my thigh. I had to sew non-elastic straps over the elastic to even make it work at all. Also, the overall quality is poor, The straps are constantly unraveling and shedding threads all over the place. Also the sizing is misleading. I wear a XXL size for other braces and this one was even too big and I probably should have bought a medium because the Velcro on the neoprene overlaps and doesn't even engage the Velcro. Boom line, do not purchase this product.

The best investment I could have made after a Torn ACL that didn't cost an arm and a leg. Very stable and the fit was perfect. Easy to adjust and the velcro hold was great. I used it for Physical Therapy and even used while bike riding towards my recovery. Highly Recommend!

There is a serious design flaw in this Knee Brace.There is a spandex stretchable strap on the upper area of the brace and when you tighten the strap around the upper part of your leg, the spandex portion of the strap contracts making it narrower than the normal width of a strap and bindes and cuts into the back of my leg and therefore cuts off my circulation. Straps of any kind on leg braces should never have spandex or stretchable straps because you need to know how much pressure to apply to your leg when strapping the brace onto your leg in order to keep it from migrating and to also give you a firm fit so the brace can function properly. Now I understand why other reviewers have stated that the brace migrates and slips off the leg. It is because of this spandex/stretchable strap.A note to the seller and or manufacturer: get rid of the spandex straps. Big mistake!I will not order this product again

Great product and fast delivery good customer service

I received the item, and tried it out. It is very comfortable. I fell in the middle of the Small size band. It seems to fit well.I did notice the hinges were stiff, but they did seem to bend. I put it on. It migrated down my leg fairly quickly.After some adjusting of the strap at the top of the calf and above the knee, it stayed up fairly well. Not well enough that I would wear it all day, but enough for a couple of hours.Then a few uses in, the hinges started squeaking fairly loudly. I was about to oil the hinges when I noticed that the hinge was actually upside down on the left side. The gears inside were not meshing when I bent it as my knee would bend, but they did mesh when I went the other direction.I removed the hinge strut and turned it right side up. The hinge now move properly and no squeak. I am now wearing it to see if the migration problem is still there. I can see the extra force causing enough pressure to push the brace down.Basically, for this unit, the company name is written from down to up on the left side and up to down on the right side. The notches above and below the hinges go toward the back of the brace. I do wish there were hard extension stops, but no big deal. I do not hyperextend, it just would have made me see the hinge installation problem sooner.So far I am happy. It is a nice brace for the price. If this fixes all my issues, then I will be ecstatic.
