I adore these wicks. I was using some crappy cheap wicks that came with a kit, and I was having a hard time with candles tunneling. So I found these and gave them a shot. They are excellent. No more tunneling at all! They do seem to burn hotter, and sometimes the burning wick will bend down into the melting wax and then lighting it later will cause some sparks and wild Calciferian-like flames, but over all I love these wicks. I use American Freedom Soy Wax and these to make some lovely candles.

The media could not be loaded. I’m using a 14oz jar with a 4 inch diameter. I trimmed the wick to 1/4 inch before burn and am 1 hour into my first burn. The flame is 2 1/2 inches high and the wick is mushrooming. The wicks are very nice quality but does not pass the safety test in my candles

I purchased in order to test out my candles. These burned entirely too high, too fast, and extremely hot.

These wicks curl under and do not burn off, causing the flame to burn too high. This affects the scent throw and causes soot to build up in the jar.

I had a great melt pool but the wicks burn too high.

These work really well for homemade candles. They burn great and and don’t bend weirdly or break off while burning. Super easy to use as well!
