It's a functional sundial.

Nice compass
It was nice while it lasted. The bolts unscrewed and now it's a pretty compass.

Compass floats all over, does not read accurately
It’s a nice looking item, but not useful, merely decorative. Can not find true direction to read the sundial because the compass floats all over when trying to locate correct position. North becomes southwest, etc… in an instant.
