More than a little surprised
So, I got this mug to get away from drinking out of either a plastic cup, or a too small for my hand coffee mug while working from home now... It's a tad pricey, but I said screw it, it's post Christmas, I'm buying something nice for ME. Gotta say, it exceed any/every expectation. This is gonna sound weird, but it feels... NICE to drink from this thing. The grip is perfect for a guy like me with big hands (or probably anyone for that matter), and the mouth feel was... "smooth" for lack of a better word. Like, it really feels pleasant to drink from this thing. Odd thing to say about a mug I know, but there it is. Like, I liked this mug enough to sign on and write this review if that tells you anything. TBH the packaging was a bit over the top/excessive, but... was also really classy at the same time. It's screwy to say this, but drinking out of this thing legit makes me feel like I should be in a ski lodge, cozied up in front a fireplace, drinking hot cocoa out of it. If you're see-sawing like I was because of the price, just go for it. I'm so glad I did. Were it not for the price, I'd probably have a cabinet full of these things!! :-D

Great looking, but possible QC issues
I've gotten this mug twice. The first one cracked immediately when I poured boiling water over my tea. I was left with a cracked, non-functional mug and a mess in my kitchen. I actually went back to the box and re-read the instructions to make sure it was acceptable to pour boiling water. It was. It says it right there, boil water and pour it over your tea. So, I did an exchange, and the second one I received seems to be of better quality. It accepts boiling water without cracking, and I can enjoy my tea. It's nice, too, because it's a beautiful mug set. The design is very attractive, and the ceramic is coated in a rough, matte finish. I love having it out to drink tea. If you decide to go for it, be forewarned about the QC issues I faced. Hopefully the first one I got was a one-off problem and most of them are good/well-made. They're certainly great looking and a pleasure to drink from.Update: Several months later, the second one they sent me has held up perfectly. The first one must have just been a one-off issue. I'm upgrading my review from 4-stars to 5-stars, because I love my mug for tea.

It’s ok
This mug is ok. I see some other reviews have mentioned their handles coming off. I could see this happening. Doesn’t feel like the best quality. Had a known the quality vs. the price before I would have probably selected a different mug. Definitely overpriced for a “just ok” mug.

I used this for 1 month, wooden handle broke.
The wooden handle broke literally within one month. I hand washed this very carefully after each use, and towel dried before I put on a drying rack. I can't even get a replacement, I'm one day late on returning so I have a broken useless mug.

Cracked after first use
I loved the look of this mug and was so excited to gift it to my daughter for Christmas. After pouring water into the mug to make tea, the mug cracked all along the bottom and up the side. This seems to be an issue with other customers as well. Not sure if I'll take a chance with a replacement or just try another company.
