Evriholder Saver Avocado Holder, Pack of 2, Green

I've had this gadget for about two years, and it's pretty useful. I never put lime juice or anything else on my avocado halves before strapping them in to this saver, and they still stay pretty fresh. I've put smaller avocados with pits much smaller than the saver accommodates in it, and as long as you tighten the strap enough, it will keep it fresh. I've kept an avocado fresh for a week in my fridge using this saver. There may be some light browning here and there, but nothing too terrible, and definitely much fresher than any other method. The only drawback, as other reviewers have mentioned, is the strap. It's made from a rubbery material that is stretchy, and you need to be able to pull it pretty tight to keep the avocado fresh. Doing this enough over time will break the strap. Mine hasn't broken, but I only use it occasionally. I can see how with regular use, the strap would give out. Just something to be aware of when buying this item. Otherwise, this really is a handy and useful product.

I bought this avocado holder, somewhat against the advice of another buyer who said the straps keep breaking. Well, I'm really glad I did because I just love this thing. I also see why the other buyer said he keeps buying them, even with the strap issue. It is so easy to pull it out of the drawer, place the avocado into it, lock down the strap over it and put it in the fridge. When I get it back out in one or two days (they never last longer than that before I want to finish it) the avacodo is still nice and fresh and green. I'm really glad I no longer have to deal with frustrating saran wrap that didn't work half the time anyway. And then when I'm done with the holder it's so easy to just rinse it with a little soapy water, put in the drying rack and then put away till the next time. And because of the recommendation of the other buyer, I make sure that the strap is holding the fruit in place, but not visibly stretched and hopefully that will take care of the strap breaking issue. It works very well but it is quite expensive and they charge extra for the delivery. That’s why I didn’t give it 5 stars.

We bought this in January of 2017 and our Avo Saver still as good as new even though we use it with great regularity!, prior to this, we were using plastic wrap... so this has more than both paid for itself $ wise, and saved a lot of plastic waste we'd otherwise be contributing to the landfill. I usually buy the smaller avocados and just do a half at a time, but when the big guys are on too-good-to-pass-up sales, I start slicing in half, then perimeter pieces just so I can keep usin' the Saver... it's awesome!Some reviews mentioned the silicon strap being weak/breaking - I'd guess they are clamping it down far harder than necessary -- it barely needs any pressure: just enough to hold the avocado in place! - so beware of that, and your amazing Avo Saver will likely last a lifetime!I certainly recommend all avocado lovers have this in their arsenal, if they have the willpower to not eat whole avocados at once!

I waited to write this review until I knew for sure if this worked because there are some reviews that indicate it does not. Well, I seldom leave half an avocado in the fridge more than a day and I simply forgot I had this one in there. So, about four days later, I got it out. I was sure it wouldn't be any good after that long. I was so surprised! It was perfect after four days. It had a slight dab of brown starting but after that many days, that's no big deal. I scraped that off quickly and the rest was just like fresh with a nice green one the outside and the right yellow-green inside. So, all I can say is this saved me money.I used it once before but ate the other half the next day. Naturally, it was in perfect condition. Just be sure to put it in with the pit and skin and make sure it's fastened tightly. It's just that simple.Before buying this, I inevitably would waist my avocados and they're not cheap. Es imposible que un aguacate no se oxide, pero usando este molde se logra conservarlos por un día, día y medio más. Es fácil de limpiar.

This avocado was in the fridge for 2 WHOLE DAYS and it has barely browned at all... I am shook. I saved the half with the pit still in it and sealed it really tight with the band, so I think that's the key to best results. Also I did receive two of them, I know some people said they only got one.

I bought one of these years ago and use it all the time, it's really great. It fits any size of half avocado. I bought these for an avocado loving friend and he just loves it too! I would have preferred to be able to buy one though. You don't need two of these! There's one in my drawer now that will be a gift for someone else in the future. :)

Nach Erkundung im Internet bin ich auf diese Teile gestoßen. Ob sie wirklich was bringen kann noch nicht beantwortet werden. Die Lieferung war etwas lang. Verpackung aber ok. Die Qualität scheint auch gut zu sein. Spaäter mehr.
