I have one basic thermometer in the home which goes inside the mouth or underarm and measures mercury level, but with the pandemic in progress, I was a little worried about that model. Also, seeing fancy contactless ones seeing everywhere when we visit any store or shop gave a great appeal to try this. And so went ahead with this after seeing so many positive reviews. I am glad I went for this one. I am using this thermometer for a week now and super happy with the accuracy and how fast it gives the reading rather than waiting for mercury level to go up/down. Highly recommended.My 2 cents below:Pros:- Works so fast and you will see the reading with a tone- Very convenient to use with a push of the trigger button- Temperature reading seems to be pretty accurate when I compare it with my other mercury one- A nice and crisp LED screen which backlit GREEN/ORANGE/RED based on the temperature level. Good to have a fever Indicator as it makes really use to read it immediately and identify the risk. It even has a fever alarm- Has both body and surface mode and works great in both with a quick toggle switch- It has memory and stores 99 records at max- The menu has multiple options including voice ON/OFF or changing the measurement unit between C/F or set the volume level for tones etc- Build quality overall is very good. From buttons to print, everything looks classy- It comes with small screw hardware and a tiny screwdriver to lock the battery cover for that additional safety- Carrying pouch is included in the package too which makes it easier to carry along anywhere- The device goes into battery saving standby mode when not in use- It is very durable and would last for long. They claim service life as 5 years- They even include a quality inspection certificate which is stamped too. Doesn't matter much but gives a confidence level on their process of manufacturingCons:- None for the functionality and qualitySuggestions:- Obviously costlier than the mercury one but it is one of the reasonably priced and great quality infrared-based thermometers- Uses AAA battery instead of an inbuilt battery. Would have loved if there was a lithium rechargeable battery in it but from a longevity perspective, reusable batteries make more sense too

This no contact thermometer is great! We live in uncertain times, and both my girlfriend and I have our temperatures checked at work daily. Its nice to have an easy to use, fast, and accurate thermometer at home, because then we can check before we go in and make sure there are no surprises. It is an easy to clean instant read thermometer, one of the fastest i've ever used and it even has a mode to check the temperatures of items in the house. I have to say it was an excellent buy at the price.

I just reopened my business which is an essential business and need one of these to quick read my client's temperature before allowing them to come in. The reading is quick and accurate. At first the reading seems a bit off compared to my in ear and in mouth thermometer but after I adjusted the setting it's perfect now. The device is easy to use too just turn it on and press the reading button and I can get the result instantly. The device also has energy saving feature and will turn off automatically. Overall, I can't be any more happier for my decision to purchase this. This is literally a life saving item to me now.

This is easy to use and has a clear display. After comparison with another thermometer, I'd say it's accurate.It's a plus that it uses AAA batteries; however, it doesn't work with my rechargeable Eneloop or Duracells. That's the only downside, as I have to keep buying batteries for it.Overall, I'm satisfied with it.
