With Jessie gradually wrapping the brothers around her finger, can she do the same with the eldest brother, Shane?Oh my! This book needs to come with a warning, it is so steamy and hot! An enjoyable story that I could not put down. I cannot wait for Book 2 to be released.

I'm so glad I found this series, I was sucked in from the very first page and could not put it down. The book is full of 5 star spice scenes 🌶️Jessie is a skilled hacker who is trying to find the man who escaped death and ends up in the clutches of four hot brothers 😍The book had lots of little twists and turns and I loved it all even when Shane was being an alphaholeThis is my first time reading this authors work and now I need to devour everything!!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

So I didn't hate this book, but I'm struggling to pick out the parts that I did enjoy. It only took me a few hours to read, so the story and spice were engaging, but it just didn't give.This is a multi-POV, fast-burn mafia RH story, the first in a series and only 260ish pages. In its simplest terms, I found it to be good spice with a small side order of plot. It's very surface level, and I was really looking for more on the page character development. We were being fed details in other POVs, but like, I didn't get to experience any actual character growth, and that's the stuff I love. Does that make sense? For example, Shane and Connor would comment on how Jessie had affected the twins, but I don't know the why, what, or how of it. The chapters were all very short (which is fine), but the timeline would jump weeks ahead sometimes, so I feel like we missed a lot.The fmc Jessie is intriguing, and I liked that she didn't fall into a lot of the cliches that seem so prevalent in mafia RH series. However, she’s supposed to be one of the best hackers out there, but I think the most we saw her do was erase some security footage, Facebook stalk someone and download some files.The four guys - Shane, Connor, Mikey and Liam - were all okay. Although, the story did seem to focus mainly on Shane and he wasn't my fave. This could be something that balances out in the later books.The spice was good, but it got a bit repetitive and samey as the book progressed. There wasn't enough to distinguish between each mc for me.And finally, there were some bits of cringy dialogue too. Jessie really talked about wearing their shirts for “easy access” 😷 hard pass. Not sure about carrying on with this series at the moment.

I was hooked from chapter one I love the characters. The twists and turns of Jessie story so far are amazing.

So this book had so many recommendations I decided to dive into it. If we are commenting on spice it is quite spicy 🌶️🌶️🌶️ and that’s because the s@x scenes are every few pages. However, there little other then that and here comes my problem. It may contain spoilers so if you don’t like stop reading now.As I mentioned except the hot scenes there is little other then that. The brothers are Irish mob which we barely see any of that. The relationship between Jessie and the boys - I can’t say that we see much development there except acting on the lust. They learn her story but not the other way, however even though there is the love word. Based on what exactly I can’t say, maybe they confuse lust with love. Not only that but the relationship between Jessica and Connor and the twins take few steps back once she gets with Shane. After that it’s only her and Shane that which I can’t understand how it would work if they’re supposed to be all together?I’ll check book 2 only because it’s on KU however I’m not sure if it continues like that it’ll keep my attention. I like spice in my books but need more then that!

Waited for a while to start this series and it's explosive, was so good I'm diving straight into book 2

To start is all i can say is well omg WOWI loved this book from the start and the smut is hot hot hotJessie has had a hard life from the age of 16 and all she wants is to find the person that hurt her the most.But when she is working for the Russians, she ends up meeting the Ryan brothers and goes with them.The Ryan brothers are the Irish mob and family means everything to them, there is Liam, Conor, Mickey and Shane just one of them are hot but all four of them together is hot hot hot hot hotWhen Jessie starts to get close to Liam, Mickey and Conor, Shane tries to stay away from her as he is not sure if he can trust her with all the secrets and lies.This book leaves as a cliffhanger can't what to see what happens in book 2.

Wow! This is Book 1 in the New York Ruthless series and it does an amazing job of laying the ground work for the series!We meet the 5 main Characters in the book when the Ryan's, The heads of the Irish Mafia, are settling a score that Jessie finds herself in the middle of through no fault of her own! In her moment of desperation she manages to sweet talk her way out of a very tricky situation and finds herself instead living with 4 of the hottest guys on the planet. Through this first book we are introduced to each of the main characters through their interactions with each other and their inner thoughts as they navigate a new situation that has them all feeling turned around and upside down. The Ryan brothers all fall for Jessie at different speeds and through different interactions while dealing with business as usual and trying to discover who the mystery girl really is.When the truth comes to light the oldest Ryan realizes just how in love his younger brothers are based on their reactions to her and her past. Just when the final Ryan succumbs to his own feelings Jessie falls victim to her past and the book ends on a devastating cliffhanger!This author does an amazing job of layering the plot as you read. Details are introduced over the course of the book that build on each other. Nothing is choppy or hard to follow but nothing is totally revealed either. This is expected in a multi book series of course. Each new discovery is well done and just adds to the enjoyment and the need to continue reading to learn more and more.The editing and grammar are very good. There are a few very minor mistakes but nothing that jumps out or at all distracts from the flow of the plot or the ease of reading the book.This book is also available on audio. Hollie Jackson does an amazing job voicing Jessie. She manages to be sassy and sweet and does a great job revealing Jessie's emotions without making her feel like a victim even when she seems to have every right to act like one! Aaron Shedlock is outstanding! The fact that he voices 4 brothers and has created a unique voice for each one that not only fits the personality the author describes but is identifiable before its even announced at the beginnings of the chapters is truly a listening experience!

I saw a tease for this book and knew I just had to read it. I’m thankful the series is completed cause after the cliffhanger in this one I need more.I was not left disappointed at all, the story and the characters were all right up my ally of likes when it comes to a great RH and why chose. I loved that Jessie was a smart mouthed Hacker and that she was smart. She was savvy and headstrong and a believable match for all four of the Ryan brothers.Coner played the role of the fall hard and fast and so sweet for her. Mikey and Liam the twins were the fun duo that will never let you down. Then there is Shane, the oldest and the grouch. He doesn’t trust Jessie but he wants her. He needs her and doesn’t quite know how to deal with it. Jessie and Shane are both stubborn and butt heads but it makes their chemistry jump off the pages. Now onto the next in the series. Trust me after this ending you’re gonna wanna know more.

Je ne suis pas trop reverse harem donc au départ pas super motivée mais bon, les critiques étant très bonnes je me suis dis...allez ! !!Bon sang quelle lecture !!!!!, les personnages sont complexes ,l'intrigue très bien menée et les scènes 🌋🍆sont incroyables.Ce livre peut choquer et déranger si vous aimez les histoire à l'eau de rose, mais si vous êtes large d'esprit, aventureuse et si vous aimez les héros dominants et possessifs, je vous recommande ce livre . Ceci est une oeuvre de fiction ce qui en fait le charme, je pense qu'aimer la dark romance ne fait que donner vie à nos fantasmes sans avoir à les vivre nous même ce qui est parfait parfois.....Je laisse cette évaluation et file lire le tome suivant.
