The joinery shows a superior craftsmanship and the finish is almost beyond words. It is as smooth as glass. This chest is beautiful! Well made, fantastic workmanship! The color is a rich cherry, insides are fully lined. It’s pretty heavy but I don’t mind as it’s definitely not flimsy. It fit my entire service for twelve plus many extra serving pieces. It was a bit pricey but you get what you pay for with this chest. I highly recommend! Placed my order and it stated it would arrive between 10/28- 11/04 but it arrived the day after I ordered it! Thank you Amazon!

A good holder for fancy silver between holiday use— ya don’t need to polish each time, keeps it untarnished.
