I have been a huge fan of George O'Connor's for a long time. I have been waiting for this book for a long time as I've been collecting the Olympians series since the first book on Zeus. One of my favorites stories is between Artemis and Orion, which I was worried might be left out. I'm happy to say that it was included in the graphic novel. I would have liked more scenes between Artemis and Orion. I've spent a lot of my life learning about mythology. I know most of the various tales in Greek mythology. I think there was a certain tenderness that I would have liked to see more between Artemis and Orion. I know that Orion is not a perfect character, but I think that he was portrayed to be very oafish. I wasn't entirely a fan of the portrayal of Orion, but I was happy he was included in the story so it was satisfactory.

If I were a God I'd be pleased.
I love these books. I've been buying them for my son since they started. We read them together, talk about them, discuss the lessons to be learned from each story - and each God. We may have to wait a year between books, but the wait is always worth it. When "Artemis" showed up my son texted me at work, asking if he could read it before I got home - which is a pretty good literary excitement coming from a 14 year old. He also goes back to re-read them, getting new angle each time. Seriously - great books.

New approach to learning mythology
My 8 year old LOVES these graphic novels. She devours these and loves how much fun they are to read. It kept her engrossed and I was just happy she wanted to read without being prompted.

Introduce the gods to children (and adults)
Great find to introduce the gods of Olympus to children (and adults). Checked them out from the library first and found them to be perfect for a homeschool mom (and me). Purchasing the set. Best child-friendly set I have found.

George O'Connor delivers a brilliant rendition of the classic stories peppering Greek Myth
As always, George O'Connor delivers a brilliant rendition of the classic stories peppering Greek Myth. Few are as talented in art as he and fewer still can match his love and devotion to the original superhero stories - thankfully, he brings these both to the table.

Technical issue
I'm really enjoying this series and have been able to read the previous 8 books without issue on my kindle app. However, for some reason, this one has a compatibility issue. I've tried it on both the Kindle web app and the iPhone app, but it doesn't seem to be downloadable. I really hope that this can be fixed so that I can continue reading this incredible series.

I don't like the way the author represents Artemis but it's a goodr reading
The more I read this series and the more I don't like the fact that every deity is presented through the voice of the other Olympians. And it took me forever to understand that each character has a different balloon color... Not the smartest chick in the nest.I used to like Artemis but I don't like the way O'Connor represents her. I don't know: it's like she just have negative sides and not a single positive one. I really like her Hulkian transformation from newborn to toddler in just few seconds. This is volume #9 and there are events that are told in more volumes and this is getting a bit boring. I new that, George, you already mentioned in volume XX now tell me something you haven't mentioned before.I really like the part about Atalanta because I adore strong women. I do with O'Connor when he writes that getting a wife by cheating means you're a loser for life. I also like the part about Orion, which is so fricking familiar. In Italy there's been many "womenicide" (journalist did have to create a word for it!) and most of them happened because a man couldn't accept the decision of a woman who wanted to leave them. Orion is the same: he can't accept Artemis' vow but she, being a goddess, can take her own revenge. Now I'm really looking for the tenth volume. Who's going to be protagonist?
