This is an adorable little kit. It makes the cutest rainbow and has the best colors! Love everything about it!

So I think this is a really cute project. I am a beginner crochet learner and I am in my 40s that says it’s geared for younger people, I believe it said 11 and up. If you are brand new to crocheting, the instructions are really difficult to understand. I highly recommend watching a YouTube video to correlate with the making of this if you choose to buy it. Being a beginning, crocheter, all the abbreviations and explanations of each stitch in writing is extremely difficult to follow, however the yarn is good quality it comes with everything you need and the end result is super cute

This is a cute kit, and a good value, but- of you are brand new to crochet and looking to learn it is not a good option. The pattern is in short hand and if you are not familiar with stich names and techniques it will be very difficult. If you have the time and energy to look up how to do the stitches on YouTube to go along with the pattern, go for it!

Still way to complicated. I just don’t think it’s for me .

This was very confusing. I was really excited to learn crochet but you have to have some basic knowledge of crochet. I was looking up all sorts of videos on what I was supposed to do. Needless to say I did not complete it.

I bought this for a Christmas gift and when I received it the package was opened and some of it had spilled out into the shipping package. There was hair all over the yarn it was even inside the package. It looked like dog or cat hair. I returned it immediately.

This kit is most definitely NOT for beginners. If you are wanting to learn how to crochet, this kit is not for you. The instructions are all printed - no videos - and they're confusing unless you already know how to read a pattern, and know the basic stitches. I had to watch several different videos on YouTube to learn how to do the stitches.Having said that, the kit is a good value - especially compared to some others out there. You do get the hook, plenty of yarn, and a darning needle for finishing the piece.There's another kit that has been featured on TV a lot lately, and theirs comes with videos of each step. If you're a true beginner, one of those might be better suited. (But they're triple the price of this kit. If you don't mind watching some YouTube videos to learn how to crochet first, this kit would be a good buy.)
