Roger Ebert's Movie Yearbook 2013: 25th Anniversary Edition

This was an order for my husband but it wasn't the book that he wanted. Bookworm was very good about my returning the book and crediting the payment back to me very quickly. I feel that they are a very reliable source of products and will probably use them in the future. I feel that they will live up to their reputation always.

As usual, Roger Ebert gives the best, most complete, introspective, objective reviews. I always look forward to reading his reviews after I have watched a movie. However, you should read the review very quickly or not at all before watching, because the reviews are so detailed. Sometimes he has pity on the reader and purposefully leaves out critical portions of a twist, etc.

I buy Roger Ebert's Movie Yearbook every year and always enjoy it. However, this year it did not include the Answer Man section, which I especially enjoy. Other than that, it was great as usual.

I had never purchased this movie guide before, but I wish I had. Roger Ebert does such in-depth reviews, and they're very intelligent. He goes over the pros and cons of each movie reviewed, and so intelligently. This is a movie review book that i'll buy regularly.

Now have something to remind me of beloved Roger.I could say blah dee blah, me likey it's good period.

Roger Ebert's reviews are always a delight. Need a smile? just sit down and read a few of his comments. I actually ordered this book by mistake - but it was one of the best mistakes I've made. thoroughly delightful reading!

My teenage son has been collecting these volumes from Half Price Books for a few years. This year I bought him this latest volume brand new. I'm sad that it turned out to be the last. He was a wonderful writer.

One can always count on Ebert to provide thoughtful and well-written essays on the movies of today. One will also learn some technical movie techniques painlessly.

This is a great book if you like to read reviews. Roger Ebert is a great writer and it's nice to just sit down and read the reviews, even if they're of films you wouldn't enjoy.
