Gorgeous
I am trying fruit molasses as I read that they contain iron and other minerals; this grape molasses is sweet and immediately tastes of grapes, it is delicious.I am using a teaspoon in black ‘shroom’ coffee - I don’t know if it is doing me any good yet, but I am enjoying it!

Tasty as a drink and as an addition to stir fry, especially with beef or lamb
A tasty addition to stir fries. Offers a different but not inferior sauce chose from hoisin or oyster sauce in Chinese style dishes.Tasty used as a cordial and mixes pretty easilyA bit pricy so not sure of I will buy this another time but definitely good quality and possessing a pleasant flavour.

Sweet, But Subtly So... If You Enjoy Balsamic Vinegars/Prunes Then You Will Probably Enjoy This
I got this to try, having never had grape molasses before, but I am a big fan of balsamic vinegars and generally have a sweet tooth so figured I would probably enjoy this. Turned out, I did.It looks very presentable in a nicely designed bottle but how would it taste. It's quite dark in colour, a mid-brown that's not that attractive, and has the consistency of olive oil.Dipping some bread into it and there is a much more subtle sweetness to it than I was expecting. It was delicious, reminding me of prunes and the pruney syrup that tinned prunes come in. I can see it being great in marinades or dressings, even on ice cream or puddings, as a lighter alternative to honey or maple syrup. It's nowhere near as sweet as those two and feels more suitable to a grown up palate, than sugar mad kids, though my children did quite happily try some.If you enjoy balsamic vinegar and like prunes, this is definitely worth a try.

Like a liquid Christmas pudding
This is a new product on me, but it’s something I’ll be getting again as it’s really delicious and very useful. It tastes like Pedro Ximenez sherry, but completely non-alcoholic. It’s a syrupy, slightly figgy, rich concentrated grape juice. Think of the taste as sort of liquid Christmas pudding, but without the spices. It would naturally be supremely useful at Christmas in all sorts of things. But all year round it’s great on ice cream, splashed onto rice pudding, all sorts of desserts. The suggestion of using it as a cordial is also a winner, it makes a rich and unusual tasting brown drink that’s really nice for a change. Only problem is it needs using within a month of opening, though I dare say it would last longer in the fridge, like most things do.A really nice high end product, well worth having for various things and best of all it tastes really nice.

Delicious Organic Grape Molasses
I’ve never tasted grape molasses before, but I am very impressed with this bottle of Greek brand Odysea Organic Grape Molasses in a glass 250 ml bottle. It’s nicely packaged and clearly labelled with an excellent best before date of autumn 2024, though once open use within 4 weeks. It is a brown liquid with a fermented scent and a lovely taste of sweet raisins, which as it’s made from 100% grape must is not surprising. It’s suitable for vegans and is made using organically grown grapes in Greece. It can crystallise in cold temperatures like, honey can, but warming the bottle in warm water soon sorts that out. It’s a good quality product I’m happy to have tried and am therefore happy to recommend to you too, please see my photos, thank you for reading my review, I hope it is helpful to you.

Not syrupy in consistency but quite sweet with a grapishness
Organic grape Molasses 250ml.This is quite tasty. It reminded the OH of prune juice. It smells very fruity and rich and I thought it has a little bit of a cherry type sweetness to it.We had some on cake and custard and it went very well with the custard.Talk turned to School Puddings and how yummy prunes and custard were.I was suprised to find the consistency more like juice than syrup. The ingredients are 100% Organic Grape Must.Hubs thought it looked like a speciality food, something you might have on special ocassions.I think I agree.I have photographed the Nutritional info for those who are interested.

Nice
Originating from the Middle East, grape molasses like this is probably the oldest sweetener used by humans. This brand presents a very fine example of it, full of flavour as well as sweetness. There are many uses for it, but my own use for this (and I do a similar thing with date molasses too) is to mix with tahini for a sweet and nutty dip or spread, something you will see in countries such as Turkey and Iran.
