Xbox 360 controller led mod RING OF LIGHT LEDS- RED

I love the change in the lights. Like most ppl on here say the LEDs are extremely small. As long as you have a steady hand you should be okay. To remove the original LEDs I would suggest using 2 soldering irons on both sides of the LED and the same time and using them to pull it off. This was the first time i tried it and although it took me a while i was able to do it. There are some youtube videos that i found pretty helpful.

As this product says don't try to mod your controll without having some kind of experince in sodering first. Also on top of the you must be able to keep calm as these leds are small and are easy to lose, burn up and cover in soder completely. I would suggest ordering more than just one set. I order 2 sets and burned up one then lost another. But in the end when the leds are install they look great!!!!I would suggest if you know what your doing and dont care about the possible risk of messing up your controller.

For anyone buying these TINY LEDs, I'd suggest letting a pro install them for you. Each one is about the size of a quarter of a small grain of rice. 10x magnification or super human vision is needed to detect the polarity, and get them placed correctly.My seller, turns out, lives in the same metro area as me, and I took my controller to their shop for a professional installation. He was done in under 10 minutes, I was quite impressed.If you are a DIY expert, then you already know what you are getting here, and you can certainly do this micro-electronic work yourself :)

Very nice lights, nice and bright and the right tone of red, perfect color.down side, they only give you 4 lights...which means you mess up and break one or lose one, well then you lose a light.the brand of lights are very good but actually getting them on are very difficult. i suggest practicing soldering on a broken circuit bored first, that way you have some experience that is what i did or get some one to do it for you. i do them for friends and customers. if you do get these don't expect putting them on to be easy. took me a couple hrs.

I didn't read the description when I purchased these, and I didn't think about having to solder them, so when they showed up, I tossed them in a drawer and they have sat there for almost 5 years. I will never use them. I gave up.

These LEDs work very well! installation can be somewhat tricky for someone that doesn't have soldering experience. For the product itself it is very nice, it comes with 5 LEDs just in case one gets lost and an instruction sheet to help with the installation process. I recommend these to anyone that wants to customized their controller!

I always order these LEDS knowing that they will work and have no problem installing them and using them, there great over all just a little steep till i found places to buy else where, but i tell you these LEDS are MEANT for the xbox 360 and 360 controller and you cant always find them. So this is a great place to get them.

So first off the LEDS worked great! It hust took forever to put in. NOT THE SELLERS FAULT, but they are super super tiny and its hard to see them unless you have 10x-20x magnification. You have to be very precise and ever so gentle when removing the existing LEDS and installing the new ones. However, once you get them installed correclty they turn out great! You can also get them professionally installed for around $20 if you want.
