Did a lot of YouTube to figure this out. Not very sturdy, will have to do a lot of modifications.

It's a solid machine. Definitely needed some fine tuning out of the box. The arms for controlling the foot and needle scrape the main body, but adding a washer to each cleared that up. The sewing foot has teeth that absolutely need to be filed down and rubberized. The sewing platform had some rough/sharp edges that should be filed down also.I recommend a full disassembly to get the Cosmoline and cheap gear lube off and replaced. Painting any raw metal surface that isn't in contact with other moving parts. Rustoleum Universal spray paint should do the trick. Use some kind of grease or wax for everything else. Any exposed metal will rust, as this is cast iron.The needles it comes with are denim needles, not leather. And they're an odd size that won't likely show up in any stores.With those negatives in mind, this machine is worth the price and extra labor.

Although there was only a few items to assemble, nothing was in the paperwork that told exactly how and where they are to be assembled. 1) Bobbin assembly, the parts exploded picture didn't direct you anywhere. 2) The short, flimsy support legs. Not sure if anybody would be able to use this machine before it toppled over. 3) In the picture, a few items had two numbers and two nomenclatures. 4) When the leading plate or main bearing was installed, it wouldn't turn.PLEASE CANCEL ASURION BABY PROPECTION PLAN.

This is an excellent little machine. It works great! Fast to put together and worked perfectly right out of the box. Even better than expected. Already repaired one pair of shoes in minutes. High quality and low price. What a great deal.

Not easy to set up or use very little instructions have to build a mount for it the legs are junk. Lost patience and sewed what I needed to by hand. I’ll go back to it when I have time to fabricate a better stand that allows control of the piece being sewn and stabilizes the unit.
