Dangerously good
I'm Joseph, and I'm an artichokaholic.Hi Joseph!Seriously, I started ordering these things by the case when COVID isolation started, and I am now up to 2 cases a month. They've become the main ingredient in salads, and something I pan-fry and toss onto pasta. They're tasty, they have no trace of "can taste", preservative taste, or anything other than artichoke. If you've never tried a mushroom/artichoke burrito, it's a mild, but pleasant, flavor. Tossing them into cream of garlic soup is awesome. Spinach/artichoke white pizza is another tasty treat. They are not robust enough to stand up to tomato-based sauces, but I don't think full-grown artichokes are, either.

Unsatisfied Customer
The cans that were intact tasted great. Out of the 12 cans received, however, 10 were very badly dented. I’ll eat from cans with little dents, it doesn’t bother me, but these were ridiculous. I didn’t get what I paid for, and it’s ineligible for returns :(

Good Value
Excellent product, good value. You get the best flavor from canned artichokes when you rinse them add salt, pepper and olive oil roast them in the oven.

I hope this was a bad case - too tough
I have been very disappointed with the amount of tough outer layer left on these. I subscribed to a case /month and wanted to change it to 2 cases/mo if they were good. We love artichoke hearts! I have bought this brand at Walmart and really enjoyed them because, except for an occasional heart, they were completely tender. With this case, I have been composting about 1/4 of each can due to layers too tough to eat. If I wanted the whole artichokes, I would have bought the whole artichokes.I'm hoping these were an anomaly due to some kind of breakdown in quality control that has since been fixed. If my next case is the same, I will discontinue my subscription and write another bad review. If they are more tender as I have come to expect from canned artichokes, I will double my subscription and revise this review.

I highly recommend
Very tasty. I put them in salads and also put them under the broiler sprayed with garlic oil until they are crisp then dip in mayonnaise. Family enjoys them.
