Q: What is the difference between the Rodiflex and Rodi Sport?

I have the Rodifix- that’s the one without the arm rests and cup holder. Just looking at the description, if I was buying this today, I’d get the sport one - it has armrests, cup holder (!), and a removable back. I think it also has the rigid latch. It seems much more versatile and cost less. The only con to the arm rest is that it will make it a little more difficult to reach the buckle. With all that said, we have 2 rodifix. They look nice in the car and my son finds them comfortable.

Q: How do remove the base padding to wash? The cup holder piece is blocking removal.

Hello. Thank you for your question. Per the instructions for cleaning, you will slide the cup holder up and off the seat and the from the back of the seat, pull seat pad off of armrests and seat. As per the instructions for the Rodi Sport Booster "Note: if your vehicle seat has a headrest that interferes with achieving a flush car seat fit, check with your vehicle owner's manual to see if it can be removed, adjusted, or it there are other possible seating locations."
