USB speaker. Compact in terms of design, it scores high on the aspect of utility too. This is what makes it worth the buy.

Nice speakers
Just bought the speakers for my son his widescreen 34" curved monitor and the sound is clear and good and not bad at all just like normal tv speakers . You can set it up or just lay it down or combine both speakers als one like a soundbar. The light is just a gadget and doesn't move with the sound it just change color every few second :). it was a better buy that the mini soundbar i bought from Trust which we send back. This form has more options on the table including a port for a headset

Not bad for a little speaker
What I really like about this product was the ability to make it a sound bar. The rubber feet were a nice touch. I also liked how they light up and change colors. They do not change to the beat but that would be cool in the future. The unit is powered by USB and then has a normal audio jack. Blue tooth option would be cool in the future as well. As for the sound, it’s a little usb powered speaker. I think it is as good as it gets with this being the case. The sound quality is decent for the highs and the lows. If you want to blast these speakers they will distort a little on the bass but that’s expected. Overall I think this is worth the price. I’m definitely happy with them and they do what I needed!

Decent Speakers: Colorful and Configurable
I used these speakers as an upgrade for my laptop when it is docked at my desk. I thought about putting them on either side of my monitor, but ended up using the 'sound bar' configuration - where you can connect them (at their tops) and they even have padded side feet for supporting it in this configuration. This way I was able to put them below my monitor stand - very convenient.I like that they have the RGB color cycling - it adds a nice touch. But what is better is that there is a button to turn that on or off at will! The volume knob is also large enough and has a good resistance feel so it doesn't spin up way too easily or by mistake. The laptop I use these with has the supposedly 'upgraded' Bang and Olufsen speaker package, but these speakers sound SO much better - there is more bass, more depth to the sound, and less tinny-ness.I am not sure what makes these "Gaming Speakers" other than the look perhaps? but they certainly do the job.All in all these are fun speakers with reasonably good quality (I am not an audiophile or speaker expert, but they sound good and a TON better than the ones on the laptop). I really like the sound-bar configuration. Their housing doesn't seem particularly high-end, but it's not bad either. There may be other speakers out there that would be better for some (different form factor, cheaper, etc) but these aren't bad, fit on the desk well, have fun lights, and get the job done handily.

MUST BUY - Crisp sound, great bass, very loud, beautiful looks, great for gaming!
I bought these speakers recently and don't regret it. I am pleasantly surprised at the sound quality of these speakers. These are medium sized speakers. The sound they produce is astounding, even though they are powered by USB. The clarity, tone and bass are great! I started using these speakers for everyday gaming and they are just right for that. What surprised me the most is how loud they get and the sound quality is amazing. They also have very decent base, especially given the speaker size. They are comparable to a higher end speakers that cost $100+. These are definitely the best speakers for its value!Ability to combine them into a single bar is a really handy one. I have been also using them for my garage workouts and whenever I outdoor projects. Great sound, lightweight, easy to use. Great speaker for the money. The fancy LEDs add a nice touch to it. They fit well along with my other gaming equipment. The build quality and workmanship is excellent. They are great for gaming, outdoor, listening to music or watching movies. I highly recommend buying these.

Gets the job done.
After holding onto our old standard pair of desktop computer speakers for well over a decade or so, it was finally time to replace them. The old speakers would have this constant stuttering static sound that could be heard whether sound was coming from them or not. That was the final straw for me.I went onto Amazon and looked for a new set of speakers, and came across these after a lot of research and comparisons of multiple models from other vendors. Reading reviews is what usually sways me over to either purchasing an item or not, and these Bengoo speakers seemed to get mostly positive reviews so that's what sold me.Upon receiving them, I didn't realize they weren't just plug-in speakers like my old pair was. They're USB, and they're going to need to be plugged into an available USB port on your device. My Windows 10 desktop was already full with plugged in devices, and the USB cord on these speakers is too short to plug into the other 2 empty USB ports on the front. So I purchased a USB port hub with 4 USB 3.0 ports from Uni, another Amazon vendor whose product also received positive reviews. Once I got it I connected the Bengoo speakers along with my USB optical mouse to the hub, then the hub to my desktop. It worked like a charm. Now, the most important part of my review, the speakers themselves. These Bengoo speakers are advertised as gaming speakers, though I purchased them primarily for my desktop for other things like watching videos or listening to music. The sound quality is very good, even when you turn the volume up. The quality won't blow you away, but it shouldn't disappoint you either. I purchased these when they weren't on sale, and it seems these go on sale on and off so if you can snag them while they're on sale you'll save about $10. These speakers can light up in different colors, and there's also a button you can push to use the speakers without having the lights on too. They're not terribly bright or distracting, so I don't mind them either way personally. The lights are advertised as 'RGB lights beat rhythm pattern," but this isn't true. They just gently circulate through different colors but there's no pulsing light-changing feature that moves to the music being played. For me, that's no big deal but it doesn't seem good to advertise a feature that isn't there to begin with. That aside, can't complain otherwise. There's also a 3.5 headphone jack to insert headphones into, and it works well. Haven't experienced any interference using them. Lastly, the speakers can be placed laying down next to one another for more of a soundbar effect, which is neat though I prefer the standard way of placing them standing up apart from one another. All in all, these speakers are good for those on a budget who aren't expecting state of the art sound but who need something that gets the job done. The quality is very good as mentioned before and should serve the average person's audio needs quite well. Hoping these last a good long time to come.
