A great second attempt.
With the first release in the imagination works line you could tell Bandai was trying allot of new things, half of the figure is rubber and half of it is hard plastic, the arms are seamless but the legs have visible cuts everywhere. For all the problems that figure had however there were also allot of positive things about it, enough so to keep it placed on my shelf over the last year. When it comes to the prince of all saiyans however it seems Bandai took what they learned with Goku and improved on it quite a bit. To get it out of the way quickly I will say that the one MAJOR drawback of this figure is that he has zero ab crunch. Beyond that however I find that this figure moves quite well and gets into most any iconic pose the character is known for.Lets talk about the positives of this figure. When it comes to value I think they really knocked it out of the park, he comes with a really sturdy display base that can bend and move into any direction you need as well as suspend Vegeta in the air. He has a ton of interchangable hands, crossed arms, 2 head sculpts (with 2 faceplates each) and interchangeable eyes for all included faces. When you consider the accessory count and the amount of engineering and unique tooling Bandai had to construct to manufacture this guy I think you will see that you actually get quite a bit for your money, I don't see their profit margins being too high on this one.One thing that Son Goku did very well was nailing the proportions of the character, the overall size of the head/body the length of the torso, legs and arms all capture Son Goku better than any line before. With Vegeta Bandai once again manages to strike gold in this department, it is completely evident that this line cares about the scale of the characters when you stand him side by side with Son Goku on your shelf, Vegeta is the correct height and his head/torso/arms/legs are all appropriately sized. You may not think this stuff matters but when you have been staring at Dragonball for 20+ years.. you start to notice when these things aren't quite right. Next to my SH Figuarts Vegeta it is completely clear that Imagination Works took more time to get the little details correct even if the articulation range took a back seat to said accuracy.I will say that if you are a big Vegeta fan.. this figure is really good and he will look awesome on your shelf. If you however are more into the SH figuarts line and prize articulation above all else, you should not pick this one up as you will be disappointed. All in all, I really hope that Bandai keeps going with this line as I think taking everything they have learned so far would result in a very great third figure.

I Am The Prince of ALL Saiyans
This figure completely exceeded my expectations.Strong build, especially when comparing to Tamashi's first attempt at tackling DBZ in Goku.Legs and Arms feel Sturdy and Strong. I do see how people feel worried the shoulder joints are a bit fragile, they are, however with a bit of care when handling, you'll be fine. The face, eyes, and head sculpts are phenomenal, no complaints whatsoever. The fabric parts of his suit feel a bit thin, but while feeling rebellious, I gave his suit leg a decent tug to test it's elasticity, to my surprise, it was stronger than I thought it would be and returned to form nicely, granted I did just open him up, who knows what that'll be like once this figure is broken in and posed over time. Good sign so far though!I will cherish this figure overtime and definitely recommend giving this line another shot if you were put off by the Goku release years back.Cheers and GO TRAIN!

Its an awesome piece!
The only thing i did not like was the fact the face does not stay on so well on vegeta as compared to Gokou but it is still a must have. I love these figures. I wish Gokou had an outfit made from material like Vegetas suit.

Amazing Figure
I'd like to start by saying that I got this while it was on sale for about $85. I had some experience with the Imagination Works Goku that came out before this figure and it just wasn't built very well and broke very easily, so I was a little skeptical on this Vegeta figure. HOLY, they ABSOLUTELY improved everything wrong with the Goku on this Vegeta figure. The actual figure feels far more durable than the Goku one did and the paint and mold of this figure is just far better in every aspect. The articulation is pretty good on the figure, but do be careful due to the fabric suit. I struggled a little when trying to swap out the figures head, but eventually got it. The only true downside to me for this figure was that I just couldn't attach his folded arms to get the look I wanted without the fear of me breaking the figure. Other than that one gripe, this figure is absolutely amazing and well worth the original $110 price.
