I didn't think the vacuum would be great because of the price. How wrong I was. Although it's heavy it is the most effective vacuum I have ever had, far superior to the Shark. My 3 daughters are all fighting over who would get it when I'm gone!!! I would definitely recommend it and I don't give praise easily

Had the vacuum a couple of months now.Was easy to put together on setup.Right height. You can't extend handle but im 6ft and its all fine.Easy to turn into corners. Light shows its on full carper power. Middle switch position is hard floor.Had a 3rd hand pull along vaccumm before and suction was terrible/previous was a vax to that. Was happy to go back to a cyclinder where you can see whats coming out it sucked up loads, first go.Long cable. Hard floor setting not that great.It is tricky to unlock the cyclinder once unclipped from the vaccum. Its stiff and was worried would break.but still going strong.I searched for ages for a cheap vaccum that wasnt useless. Procrastinating over choosing the right one. Its suction isnt the best but it cleans the floor of dog hair, astro turf beads. However it does not like fluff anything slightly bigger. Gets clogged easily. However im still doing the happy hoover mum dance like was from day 1. No more crawling on floor.

Really liked this when I first got it, it picked up well and was light to pick up, however after a few months it doesn’t pick up anything without using the hose. I’ve had tradesmen look at it but they can’t get it to work properly so ideal if you only want it for a few weeks otherwise very disappointing purchase.

What can I say its a great hoover. The suction power is absolutely great. I used to have a black lab, my last hoover was good and got the hairs up so I thought, Frankie left August last year,I would find a few hairs in the rug. I used the hoover on the rug and it was unbelievable how many hairs was left I was astounded, the suction is amazing even picked up my hair. The only thing I found is that it says anti tangle brushes but I have found that it isn't, I have long hair which my last hoover couldn't pick up at all. I read all the reviews and every one said it was great and they weren't wrong its a great hoover for the price and I would buy it again. Love the way it cleans ,its a wee bit heavier than I thought it would be, the cord is long enough I plug it in the living room and I can do the whole flat without changing plug sockets. My hall is 24ft and the bedrooms are at the end of the hall so definitely no complaints about the length of the cord.Thank you for taking the time to read this.

I bought this as an addition to my old Hoover so that I can have one upstairs and one down. My old Hoover is 1900 watts and although it is a brilliant cleaner it was too strong for my new carpets so I had to drill holes in the tube to lessen the suction. The Vacmaster has adjustable suction and a choice of Brush on/off and a swivelling head and though is has less wattage it cleans just as well as my old one. It's a little heavy for me but I'll quite happily put up with that because I'm not killing my arms trying to push around the (very thick)carpets.It is really robustly built, easy to empty and clean and I'm really pleased with it

Cleans my carpets better than my previous shark hoover. However annoying that it doesn't not have anything that spins when on thr hard floor setting. Great for the price.

Bought this as a spare, I always use shark but have to say it’s a good hoover for a good price. Suction is good and it’s quite lightweight, doesn’t manoeuvre as good as my shark but still nice compatible vacuum 🙂
