This is the sweet spot for WDT. Affordable, correct needle size, holding base, needles are already filed!!!I have the peoples WDT from Etsy as well and while that is very similar to this, those acupuncture needles are still sharp and are a bit thinner and flimsier than this one. Not to mention the base on this one is great. While this one is more expensive, it’s worth it in my opinion.

As another reviewer said, this is a great WDT tool! I purchased more than one brand, as I wanted to compare brands. This one, hands done, was the best! It is perfect for raking the puck - it easily distributes the grounds evenly and makes quick work of doing so. It is very comfortable in the hand and feels natural. I really like this tool!

In pursuit of high-quality and repeatable single shots, I've fiddled with multiple baskets, tampers, funnels and levelling devices. Before I tried this, I was using the WDT with a single needle, with results that were decent on average, superb on occasion, but variable overall. With this MiiCoffee tool, shots are much more consistent and amost always close to optimal. The wires may look fragile, but their diameter of 0.40 mm is the key to stirring THROUGH the grounds without lifting them out of the basket. The functional and elegant design extends to the stand, which protects the wires and keeps the tool from rolling across the work surface.

This WDT works really well actually. The needles and the spacing are great and the stand is quite convenient. I only wish the handle was maybe a bit different and it came in black. Fairly superficial qualms though for a well designed product.

Really love the simplicity of this WDT, however the tool itself has to have the holes widened to accommodate the larger ends of the needles.2 minutes with a 1/16 drill bit is enough to widen the holes and allow the wider ends to remain in place while still being easy to remove. Used with a new IMS basket and ended up with a great shot of Counter Culture Hologram for afternoon espresso.Absolutely recommend, just be prepared to widen the holes!
