The concept of this toy is good. Because it is small my 9 month old grandson frequently gets his hand”stuck” between the bands when pulling out the shapes. Then he became frustrated in having to “shake” the box loose from his arm. Maybe as he gets older he will learn to hold the box down with one hand and removes the shapes with the other hand.

My 1 year old loves this toy. I appreciate that it came with different shapes, however, half of them are flimsy. The items with ridges are great, nice to hold, durable. Then, there were a few smooth balls included that crumple with even light touches. It seemed like an add-on that was purchased from a different vendor. My child chewed on these and they immediately caved in. Once they’re lost, I won’t be looking to replace them. I just added some toys we already had to give my kid more items to push into the sorter.

All hard plastic, with different designs. Overall made ok, but not what I wanted when I wanted texture.
