This is perfect. I have long, thick, coarse hair, and this brush makes straightening my hair so easy, a task I used to dread before, because of how long it took. The best part about this brush is that it can get my roots easier than an iron. I just plug it on, crank the temp up to 230° and brush through my hair. Another great detail about this product is that it automatically switches off if it is left on for too long. It's definitely worth the 5 star rating, and I've recommended this product to so many people!

I purchased this straightener because it was cheap and the reviews were good. I have thick, wavy hair and I needed something to keep it tame because it can get frizzy. This straightener did a good job at straightening my hair in less than ten minutes, but it did not make my hair tame or smooth. Instead, it made my hair static-y and frizzy, and it did not look nice at all. I will be returning it. Otherwise, it is great quality. It does not have regular bristles, as shown in the pictures, but that didn't bother me. It may be very good for other types of hair.

Product works good an it gets ur roots along as u do small sections

I am a person of color with very thick long hair. I would try to straighten my hair with a flat iron and get impatient and eventually go to someone, professional or a friend, to finish the job. Until recently this is what I have done for a very long time but after watching a video on a hair straightening brush I decided to purchase one. The reviews for this brush were good so I decided to purchase it. I'd be lying if I said the cost didn't factor into my decision as well. It arrived on time and I immediately took it out the box, which was exactly as pictured. I saw a few reviews mention the comb design and how it isn't an actual comb. This is true but I wanted to give the product a go anyway. It heated up well and a quick read of the instructions had me ready to try the device on my newly washed and blow dryed frizz of hair. The brush went through my hair with ease and left it straighter then I ever did with a flat iron. I completed my whole head and got compliments at work for how straight it was and the fact that I was able to do my entire head on my own, a feat many and myself thought best left to someone else. I am very happy with this purchase and will continue to do my hair myself with the assistance of this brush.

Loved it for the few uses I got out of it. It began to show signs of defect after using it twice - couldn't increase the temp. After 3 more uses, the display is no longer working and it is now heating.

There are no bristles like a brush there is a strange angle to the tool it felt like my hair was ripping out when I would run it through sometimes. I probably will not be using this again on coarse hair like mine

I bought this to use on my hair every day, instead of a flat iron. my hair tends to get frizzy after i blow it (i use products too :-() and I wash every other day/two daysWhy i bought this... Saw a video of another hot brush and didn't want to spend a lot of money on something i didn't know would work and searched thru amazon for reviews and came across this one as it had the most consistant reviews.My hair is shoulder length and wavy,color treated so some damage/flyaways especially on top.This unit worked out of the box. Make sure it's thoroughly headed before you use it for best results. I keep mine on 410 (2nd setting) for clean hair when it's really wavy and 380 on 2nd day after wash hair. Takes me 5 minutes tops to smooth out the waves and no frizz. I then finish off with my Chee hair spray for a shine.Much easier than the flat iron (unless i want my hair very straight), faster, and i don't fee fried once i'm done.Best hair care product i've bought in a long time.
