I’ve purchased these a few times over the years because my son loves them. They are comfortable & durable. At the end of each year when my son grows, I can donate them because they are still in excellent condition.

These boots are very similar to my muck boots. They’re durable, warm, insulated and waterproof. My son loves these. I will be purchasing again in a bigger size for the coming winter.

I just ordered a second pair for my granddaughter, since she outgrew her first pair. They are warm enough for winter snow, yet comfortable for summer puddles. The neoprene top makes them so comfortable on legs. They wear very well. The outgrown boots still look great after months of almost daily wear. The price is very good.

Forget Oaki, Bogs, and all the rest if your kids are hardcore outdoor adventurers - they will be tore up in less than a year. My daughter has been wearing Western Chief Freestyles for the last 3 going on 4 years and not only do they have a decently wide toe box, they hold up remarkably well. It is shocking how waterproof they are, even when the outer layer start to wear down, they still don't let water in. They are well-insulated yet comfortable enough my daughter wears them for outdoor exploration year-round, from deep snows in -10 F Winters to Summers in the upper 90's. Wish this style kept going up through adult sizing!

We bought these when our usually brand raised their prices. These have held up well and work great for all weather -sun, rain, snow, mud.We purchased plain black. There are no handles for pulling boots on but my son (age 7) hasn’t had an issue.I would purchase again.

We bought one pair and my son wore them for 9 months of hard wear. He needed to size up, so we bought the same ones in the next size. Within a week the binding at the top of both boots came loose and within a month was completely gone. The camo is now coming loose and rolling down the outside of the boots. They're still waterproof and usable, but they look busted. I'm hoping it's a one off quality issue because otherwise they're a great boot. Fits true to size and has a tall fit in the foot part for his brick feet.

These are the perfect combo of boot and sneaker for my kiddo. Tall enough for most snow play. Waterproof. Comfy (according to him, and he chose these for a second year, so…). My only thing is that the back heel split towards the end of last season. In all fairness my kid wore them daily by that point and would be in them for as long as he could, and played hard! However, I was still surprised the rubber split, so maybe some reinforcement down the road. Otherwise, please don’t ever change them (apart from that last heel/ankle bit, heehee), nor retire them! Also, please make them for younger kiddos, I was bummed there weren’t sizes for my toddler. These seem much easier to run around in. In fact she prefers her WC rain boots to her WC snow boots :/

Bought these for my 4 year old. Very good quality for the price. He has been putting them to the test in the mud and they are holding up great. Very comfortable and true to size.
