This ball came with batteries already installed. There were three extra sets that came with it, plus the tool to install. We have only had it a week so I’m not sure how long batteries last but it really glows at night. My son LOVES this ball! It was easy to inflate and bounces nicely. Great gift for a kid who loves basketball. Overall very satisfied.

Works perfectly! Gave it to my little brother for his birthday. It came with extra batteries as well as a tool to help you get to the battery holder. I bought this with the football and both are awesome!!!

This ball is just a little smaller than a regulation basketball. It was easy to inflate and has stayed inflated so far. I like that the ball doesn't light up until you bounce it. There are no on-off switches to worry about.

We got this for my grandson and he loves it. It is good quality, easy to inflate and fun to play with, especially outdoors at dusk or even in the dark. The fact that it glows in the dark makes it easy to see and the kids love it. It's not regulation size...it's for younger kids, say 4 to 8 years old.

Gave 4 out of 5 as the light failed after one day however called customer service and they were able to fix over the phone. If anyone has this issue bend The tab by the battery opposite the light closer to the battery so it is tight. Works perfect now and thanks to the great customer service who answered my Sunday phonecall

This was a birthday present fir my young grandson who is just learning about basketball. He was excited to play with the ball in the daytime. But, he was ecstatic when might came and it saw it blow in the dark. It was so much fun!

I've used GlowCity LED basketballs before outside, on concrete, with no problem. I bought this size ball for my daughter and it maybe bounces 5 times on a basketball court before it won't bounce due to deflation. Mine must be defective because everyones reviews align with my views after my experience with a larger ball. Hoping to get it exchanged....because they are super fun.

Its amazing my son loved it and in the night the glow is excellent.
